We bought a cheaper older RV first from aneighbor to see if we liked it. Then when we knew we did we upgraded to our 2010 Melbourne by Jayco. It's just about perfect for hubby,Lily and I and small enough I could drive it if I needed to. We're always the smallest camper at our trips because many of the folks live full time in their RVs and have either class A buses or 5th wheels.
I wouldn't need anything big - I actually like cozy spaces.

Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!
QOTD: I've never camped except as a kid in Girl Scouts. My daughter and I got a tent and set it up in the back yard when she was little, but she heard some noise and wanted to go inside and that was the end of that. I might like camping if I had a nice RV like Karen's, though.
Accountability: Yesterday: Terrible. Saralisa went to Wendy's and I got a baconator single. So my totals are high today. Protein - 80, Calories - 1,635, Carbs - 186.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: ham & cheese on 45 calorie bread, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Healthy Choice turkey meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt
E: taking Blossom for a walk
Have a wonderful day everyone!

DH and ate out last night. I ordered the popular hamburger topped with an egg (justified the bun because of the messy, runny yolk and DH got to eat half). QOTD: growing up on a farm meant work, work, work and no camp, camp, camp. My own children got cheated from camping due, in part, to my SSMO canceling out much of anything at all. No wonders they don't like me very much.

Good morning! We are not going to Palm Desert today after all and I am so relieved! It's going to be 90 here today, which is pretty hot for us. We are going to the beach for a few hours this morning before it gets too hot. We have house projects today. Later I plan on retiring to the couch to watch more Poldark - I'm on season 2 and hope to be totally caught up by the September premier of season 4. LOVE this series - it's in my favorite genra.
QOTD - We were hotel and beach house vacationers growing up. In fact I couldn't ever imagine camping and it seemed so hot, itchy and dirty. Now, I would love to go. Rob and I have been talking about it. He grew up camping. I'd like to get a nice small drive-able camper and go everywhere - glamping I guess, but I am not opposed to tent camping at all either, apparently I've evolved and it sounds great now!
Accountability - awesome!

Good morning! As much as I want a lazy weekend, I'm going to make myself go to the gym, weed the flower beds, and clean the house. Then I'll have a mini-spa evening with a shower/bubble bath, face mask, and do my nails. I'm finding it much easier to polish my toenails these days :)
qotd: I love camping but havent been in a few years. My bestie and I went to Wyoming every summer to visit her parents. They live in a small town near Yellowstone, and we'd drive out with 4 wheelers loaded on a trailer, then 4 wheel our way up a mountain trail and camp near the peaks. It was cool and dry, so the bugs were minimal and a fire was always super cozy and fun. We'd sometimes camp near a mountain lake and it would be warm enough to swim during the afternoon. The only downside was that there were no bathrooms/showers out in the wilderness and her parents wouldn't let us wander into the woods to do our business alone--her mom chaperoned us with a shotgun at her side because bears and mountain lions were a real possibility up there. We stopped going because my friend had a daughter and she's been too young to want to try making the 13 hour drive out there.
Breakfast: bacon and eggs
coffee and Premier when I get back from the gym
lunch: maybe a salad
dinner: shrimp and zucchini I think
