Woe, incredible pictures! Love the photos of your family! The lambs are completely and udderly adorable (ha!). And those mountains are magnifocent! Thanks for sharing these with us.

You and your tacos! I think I'm going to have to make some! I like the idea of grilled fish and mango salsa...

QOTD: I was in the top 5 of my class by Junior year of high school but I was bored and I'll just say there was some dysfunction at home. So I skipped school a lot with my boyfriend. I never got caught by the truant officer, but I never made it to the honor society because my advanced math teacher blocked it. He said that even if I was his top math student, I wasn't setting a good example. BTW, I ended up married and had my eldest DD at 17 (divorced by 21). I married current DH in my mid-twenties, finished college and grad school by my early thirties and adopted two more children. So I wasn't a lost cause in the end.

Accountability: Back on track yesterday after the cannoli dip run-in on the holiday.

2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli chicken OR Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Maybe taco meat!

S: ostrim meat stick, yogurt

Sounds like that teacher could have used a dose of empathy.

Well he didn't really know about the dysfunctional family part, just my boredom.

Good Friday morning JB and menu folks!

JB, yeah for goats and fireworks! I love going to fairs and I have often entered things in our local county fairs, which is fun. Not this year, but we may go and wander around anyway.

DW and I took yesterday off to have a long midweek holiday. We went to breakfast and then to see Incredibles 2. We don't go out to the movies very often but it was fun and they had reclining seat, which was nice. I got a coffee and snuck in a PowerAde Zero and some meat treats. No popcorn even though it looked good.

Today it is back to the grindstone, but I am working from home, so that is helpful. I hope to go swimming this afternoon on my flex lunch. It is not as hot, but super humid and calling for thunderstorms on and off all day.

This weekend is supposed to be absolutely perfect! In the low 80s and sunny, so I plan to get on for at least one long hike. No Aqua Zumba this Saturday but I'll get in at least one swim and probably 2.

QOTD: until my late teens, when I had a few willful run-ins with teachers, my only incident was in the 6th grade. I had to go to the bathroom really bad while in class and raised my hand to ask to go. The teacher was busy and distracted and when I interrupted her to ask because she was ignoring my hand, she told me to just sit there. I told her no and she said got angry and told me to go to the principal's office. I started crying and went in stood outside the door for a minute until I realized that I could just go to the bathroom anyway. The class was almost over so I just hung out in the hall until class was over and never went to see the principal. I guess in the end I got what I needed, but it really upset me that the teacher got mad at me when I was usually well liked. Oh well, no detention or anything...

Oops. I forgot my picture! Justice didn't mind the fireworks on Wednesday but he is a little freaked out by all the wind this morning (this is him right now on the deck with me). He is a Florida dog after all and would have experienced Hurricane Irma last year before he came to us early in 2018.
