It was so much fun -- the whole process is interesting and then pretty much everyone I knew or had ever me****ched the show so I got to reconnect with a lot of people. The funniest was an old high school teacher that I hadn't seen since before graduation (which was SOME time ago) who called my mom the night it aired to ask if it was me, lol.

ok so as expected, weight went up from chicken wings yesterday, happens every time. I also love loved that peach 'ice cream' i wrote about yesterday. other than that food was on point.

yesterday's wildlife experience was looking into the bed of the truck we haven't driven for 3 weeks and seeing tadpoles in the back@@@!! so when we were at walmart, we got a little kid pool and started a tadpole habitat for them. will be fun to see them morph into the frogs!

QOTD: I don't consider myself an intellectual so i would like the price is right, double dare, or that remote control show from MTV. I'm more into trivia and hoe much hings cost. There was also a matching game that was on for a while and I would play that on my computer.

Food for today:

last of chicken wings

water

coffee

Good morning. Another hot one today, with storms tomorrow to break the heat. I just reloaded my kindle with library books. I've been reading one of the Outlander books and it is so long that I'm bored. I needed a change (though I'll probably finish the one I've been reading today)

Accountability: All I can say is that you can't eat just one (or two) cannoli chips with dip...

2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli chicken OR Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

I couldn't get into those books at all. I thought it was a personal failing but I think it is just not my genre...

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to continue with that series. I did finish the book yesterday but it was painful. I was very excited to start a new book in the evening!

I must have tried to read the first one a dozen times and it just doesn't click for me. A lot of my friends watch the series on TV but I haven't given it a try yet.

Good morning :)

JB I love the comic... I've only been weighing myself on Fridays as even this necessary weight gain can get me down a bit.

Up early to go for blood work and then meeting DH for lunch. I didn't sleep well last night so I see a nap in my future ;) lol. My appointment with the doctor went well yesterday. Little nugget is measuring just below average but well within the normal range. I am still a bit stunned that we are having a small baby. My whole family is big and tall with big babies. This baby is on track to be the smallest baby in like four generations. DH is 6'2" so his family isn't small either...

QOTD: it's funny because my first thought was The Price is Right until you mentioned Jeopardy. I should have thought of that first. I love playing along. When I lived with my grandparents we often watched it together in the evening.

Post-op three years and four months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg and pickles

Lunch - restaurant TBD

Snack - Greek yogurt

Dinner - pork and veggies

Snack - dates and oatmeal bites

All water and vits.

Another hot one here in Quincy too so I'xll have to make sure to drink enough throughout the day. More painting walls and metal doorframes today and probably some touchup too. I think our next job is scraping and painting windows. Lily and I did 3 miles this am and will do more later. Accountability was good with 10,131 steps and no extra bites.Post op 5 years 10 months and weight at 118.6 today. QOTD like you,JB, I'd like to be smart enough to be on Jeopardy but I'm not so I'd have to pick Wheel of Fortune. Heres the food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L protein from cafeteria plus small salad D 4 oz grilled chicken veggies from a kebob S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blackberry jam. Off to find some much needed coffee!
