What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
on 7/5/18 2:03 am
Morning! Hope everyone had a great holiday! Anyone else weigh in on one tip toe this morning? I actually didn't eat terribly at all, but I had too many little bites, licks, and tastes of potato chips, crackers & dip throughout the evening. But really I spent most of the day just trying to drink after my ridiculous dehydration episode on Tuesday. I think I am back to "normal" ;) Today is another hot hot hot day and I am still planning to do the 2.5 mile walk each way so today I will arm myself with a few extra bottles of water.
QOTD: If you could be on any game show, which one would you choose? I really wish I was smart enough to be on Jeopardy but I am sure I would look like a fool. Instead, I think I'd like to go back in time and go onto The Price Is Right when Bob Barker was hosting.
I have a long day ahead and no solid plan for dinner because I am going out with a friend and I haven't a clue where we are going. I am rooting for tacos, obviously, with lobster as a close second choice.
Happy Thursday!
It's been hectic here. Furniture (new couch and chairs) delivered today as well as the new fridge. Got a lot of sanding done today as well as removing the last of the curtain tracks and blinds. Just the dining area windows, kitchen window bank, and baseboards to go. Plumber is coming tomorrow to figure out how to handle the bath, potential, half bath, kitchen, and laundry. Such fun (said with some sarcasm)
Accountability: I had a plain yoghurt for dessert, because calories and protein were low. I took my sugar free hard candies with me to the new house, but didn't eat any. (They are great to get the yuck dust taste out of my mouth)
B: coffee, protein water
MT: chicken salad with couple grape tomatoes
L: biltong, yoghurt plain with 10 grams blueberries
AT: protein water, tea herbal
D: poached salmon, 2 grape tomatoes, a little lettuce (just to see how it would go down as I would like to use it for wraps)
Dessert: plain yoghurt, tea herbal
fluids at 1.6 litres, vitamins done, medications remembered and taken
Have a fabulous day everyone!
Have fun,

Biltong! So tasty. May I ask where you buy it? I used to eat homemade (is homemade the right term?lol) all the time when I was living in Africa, but haven't come across it in the states.
