Can you tell me about the Epic bars? I was looking for some "purse snacks" that were very high in protein an this is one of the things that turned up.

I love them. You can find them at Trader Joe's or on Amazon. By now I buy them on Amazon by the box. Different meats and flavors, but they are not created equal so read the nut value. I would love to eat the lamb one but it has currant in it hence the carb count is high. I get the chicken Sriracha one bcz it's SPICY, and it has only 1 carb with 100 cal and 15g of Protein. It is the best protein bar you can get. Forget Quest bars or Premier ones, they are too high in carbs. Epic is practically a piece of meat but in bar shape. :-)

The Chicken Sriracha ones are my favorite! The spiciness distracts me from the fact that I fundamentally think they are sort of gross. Like really tasty and awesome stats, so worth it... but still kind of gross.
You are so right! The spicyness takes away from the fact you are eating a piece of dry meat. I sometimes fear it's gonna give me ulcer. I can be starving, and I eat the bar and I'm good for 3-4 hours. That spicyness literally stops any feeling of hunger for hours.

Good morning! Another hot day in Missouri. Thank goodness for AC.
I had a message almost finished and my computer erased it. Undo didn't work. My cursor is jumping all over the place. I fixed that problem once so guess I need to fix it again.
QOTD: No special book that changed my life. The book about organizing, can't remember the title or author, is a favorite. She says if something doesn't bring you joy, get rid of it. I used that statement a lot when we moved.
Yesterday I had a mammogram and all is well. So thankful.
I'm doing shakes during the day and a meal in the evening. Don't think I could do AMAW. I'm not a big meat eater. May try CAMAW. I bought Premier Protein Caramel drink and Premier protein bar. I didn't check the carbs and they are 25. UGH.
Menu:
Premier protein
Click shake
Protein bar
BLT w/lettuce as bread
SF pudding

I am so late this morning. But I woke up SO early so how can I be this far behind? Oh that is right, Pilates first thing and then my 2 month check up and group class. Both went really well. I feel better prepared for some of the challenges that can come up in the next 4 months.
Qotd: Without a doubt the book that most changed my life was Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. It gave me a better understanding of my own philosophies and really has shaped some of my political and personal opinions.
Accountability: Very good!
Bf: 4oz Fage Greek Yogurt, 37g Julian's Bakery ProGranola
MS: Nothing, no time and forgot to pack anything
L: 3 chicken meatballs, about an oz of cream of chicken soup (mballs cooked in)
AS: 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 slice Dave's Killer Bread Powerseed Thin, 1/2t margarine, 1/2t sugar free preserves
D: 1/2 serving Realgood Enchilada
A premier protein pudding and 1/4 cup peeled apple slices with 2T PBfit
No idea on stats as I haven't logged anything yet. Hoping for 800cals 80g protein, 120oz water (on track), vitamins (behind but catching up)! 1hour pilates, 1 hour treadmill.
OMG, love love love the Fountainhead. My husband introduced me to Ayn Rand. It was his have-to-read-book if we wanna have a life together.
