I know, right?!? They did take an x-ray! I just don't get it how they diagnosed the fracture and now say there wasn't one. Anywho...happy to have him close. It's been a nice transition especially since he may end up on the other side of the country or other side of the world eventually!

Good afternoon - getting closer to goal now - it's exciting.
QOTD - no contest for nightmare job starts in my mind. It has to be a pharma data company I went to work for back in the early 90's. They had a major reorganization while I was filling out the final paperwork on my first day (keep in mind I was at my desk by 10:30 that day). They reorganized the President and the VP that ran our organization out. I was reassigned to a new responsibility - finding out as they were walking me to my desk. It was the job I had told myself I didn't want to take and wouldn't have accepted. There were 2 jobs open and they decided to keep the other I had accepted in-house (basically, no one wanted the job I ended up with). What a nightmare. I almost got back in my car and drove back from PA to IL that day. My mentor I called told me to give it 3 months. What a mistake. I should have followed my gut. Long story short, the product I was developing was 9 months late to launch on the day I started. It was to launch in the next 90 days. It took me 9 months to fix all the problems and get it out. I spent $2MM and my product made the company over $200MM over the next 10 years with minimal incremental costs - all profit. However, after 18 months on the job, I was let go for not meeting the goals of the product group. They were debriefing me and told me I was 2.5 years late to deliver. I had to remind them I only had worked there for 18 of those months. What a bunch of idiots! Best thing that happened to me was forcing me to find my next job. I technically was only out of work a day before I was hired on as a consultant until I landed a sweet job 4 months later. The CFO once stated publically at a mgmt meeting - "Customer service is an expense to be minimized!" Word for word.
B - eggbeater with ham
L - small salad and 3.5 oz chicken
S - protein bar or drink
D - small salad/cheese/3oz steak
S - Tea
