I'm in MD and work in DC. It is miserable here and now my internet is spotty, which happens when it gets really hot!

I thought what you were describing sounded familiar. Yeah, it's been miserable around here the last few days.

Good morning! Another long stall has broken, and I'm so excited to see the scale moving again. I tend to stall for weeks on end, and then plummet all at once. I'm down 6 lbs since Friday!

I feel super groggy this morning and my cat is being super clingy, so I'm having a hard time getting motivated to get ready to go.

Qotd: my most memorable first day was my first real job at Taco John's. I was trained my first day on the register and I was extremely shy, and mortified to have to talk to customers. The assistant manager was super outgoing and hilarious. I came out of my shell because of that job, and he is still one of my very best friends 18 years later.

breakfast: usual coffee with premier

lunch: leftover crack chicken, might drizzle a bit of buffalo hot sauce on it

snack: pickles

dinner: turkey burgers I think. Or something else quick and hassle free

Best of luck today! I'm sure it will be easier than the memorable day you just described. Where did you get that taco? Steak and mango - yummm....

Today my DSD is here and SIL from out of town is also visiting. We all have early errands, but then I think we will poke around downtown (we have a really cute downtown in Falmouth MA).

QOTD: Hard to remember first days now, LOL! I guess the one that sticks out is when I met with the VP of a new business unit charged with developing an insurance product and he said that he needed me to tell him what techology support was required. I asked for his business plan and he didn't have one!!! So the first half year of my job was working with them to develop and document a business plan. Which btw, had a lot more value in the long run than just highlighting where they needed technology.

2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli chicken OR maybe out to lunch

D: Possibly 1/2 cheeseburger and spinach salad

S: yogurt
