Great news! Congratulations! And I feel the same way about pork rinds: Not my favorite but I needed something different with some crunch when doing AMAW.

Thank you again, Liz, for reminding me of AMAW when you posted you'd do it and for suggesting pork rinds. I'm on cloud 9.

The last couple of months the lbs were coming off really slow, like 2 lbs a month. But now with AMAW I'm almost back to the speed of the first 6 months and I can't be happier.

Thank you...thank you...thank you!

Good morning menu folks! It's another hot and humid day here with the high temperatures supposed to be about 100 and the heat index 110+. Also another air quality alert again today on top of it! I'd love to get out for a walk but when I took DW to work at hour ago, it was already hot and miserable. I hope to get in a swim sometime today though...indoors!

JB, all the best going back to work. I hope everything works out well and that you adjust quickly! Also good luck with the walk. Can you take a bus or cab/Uber in the afternoon if you need to?

I had a nice weekend with more World Cup soccer and a 5.5 mile walk on Saturday and swimming both days. I am much more fit than last summer but I still don't want to push myself to be doing vigorous exercise outside when the heat and air quality are too high. Not worth hurting myself.

I did 4 days of CAMAW and lost more than 5 pounds. After much reconsideration, I wasn't really hoping too, just clean up my eating plan. I am glad I did it though and stuck to it except for a couple of SF popsicles because it was so hot. I'm back to regular plan today adding in veg, fruit and a few almonds. My plan is to keep the other carbs to a minimum.

Menu:

B1: vanilla Premier Protein shake, coffee

B2: hard boiled egg, ham

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, chomps, blueberries

Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots

Snack: turkey breas****ermelon, almonds

Dinner: BBQ chicken

Snacks: SF popsicles

Exercise: swimming laps

I can't remember, where do you live? I was wondering about your air quality alerts. Enjoy those veggies!!!
