What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Hello! Yep, it finally happened... today is my first day back at work! I am excited, but I also have no idea what to expect at all. My old boss, who is responsible for bringing me back, is on sabbatical so...?? The only thing I am sure about is that I have a two and half mile walk, to and from the train in 95+ degree weather, and a sub-zero office to be in, in between. Oh, work life... I have missed your quirks & foibles ;)
Accountability: Just here to brag about the steak and mango tacos I had on Friday!
QOTD: Tell me about a memorable first day you had a job! The one that stands out the most for me was my first day of teaching this one specific class of kiddos. I took over for a teacher who quit after a month because the kids were..."spirited". I assumed that that teacher was overreacting, but whooooaaaaa--that group was the hardest group of kids I have ever taught! The tantrums were epic and on Day 1 there was a point when the majority of the kids were screaming bloody murder and at least three were hiding under tables and throwing shoes at me. I ended up following this special group through 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade... They are gong into 7th this year! Anyway, I hope today is not as eventful!
JB - good luck today, kids and the school are lucky to have you.
I MADE IT!!! I finally lost 100 lbs!!! Did you guys hear my screams Sun morning? I was so incredulous that I kept getting on and off the scale. I guess AMAW + HIIT on the treadmill did their trick. I was so impressed that I'm thinking of continuing with CAMAW. Yesterday, as a celebration I had a cold coffee and protein shake iced latte and it tasted like heaven, but the rest of the day it was pretty much AMAW!
I also gotta tell you about my FOB (fresh off the boat) moment. I've been here for 25 years and I had never heard of pork rinds until I joined OH. The whole time I thought they are like the pig ears you give to dogs for snacks, but for people. So I would see them on people's menu and think to myself "that's nasty". Until last Fri Liz mentioned I should have them for snack because I was telling her I?m bored with meat. Well, let me tell you...I am pleasantly surprised. I expected pig ear and instead I get this airy thing to the point I thought I picked up the wrong thing. I had to google it to even know what it looks like and what to look for at the store. Checked and double checked the carb and protein and finally gave in and tried it. It's not my favorite thing to eat, but while on AMAW it's a life saver.
Accountability : 100% spot on...obviously!
