What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
I LOVE your description of July 4! Exactly what it should be!

Good morning all and happy Saturday!! This weekend was a long time getting here!
im enjoying my premiere and coffee on my friends deck, looking at lovely Colorado open space before we start our 6 hour trek to Wyoming for a wedding, it's going to be a beautiful love filled happy day!
i work on the 3rd and the 5th so the 4th is low key - I'm going to try a Pilates sculpt class and then either go see the new Jurassic Park movie or binge watch a British miniseries that was just recommended to me (The Suspicions of Mr. Witcher, read the book a few years ago and it was great).
menu today is a bit up in the air, not sure what the wedding food will be - their decorating theme is Dia de los Muertos so I'm thinking fajitas, maybe? I'll be protein forward regardless.
B - premiere + coffee
l - chobani hint of mango
d - fajita meat?
s- some type of jerky/sausage offering at the gas station -- it is a road trip after all
have an amazing day all!!

Good morning everyone! I'm so happy it's Saturday and after reading about the temps everywhere I'm quite happy with my sunny and 75 today! Between the world cup games this morning, we are going on a hike. This one starts at a farm, then goes by/through a lake that leads to the beach. It's a favorite of mine and oh so beautiful! I want to do a mess of things around the house, BBQ later and watch a movie or documentary tonight.
QOTD - Our neighborhood is quite active on the 4th. Since it's midweek, we will probably just walk around the hood and see some awesome yet quite illegal fireworks! Probably BBQ hot dogs and set off some little ones here, Rob really likes that.
Accountability - Invisalign is diet of its own...what a pain -they are quite difficult to take off to eat! Then you have to do an entire cleaning before putting them back on and its not worth it for a snack or BLT's so those just didn't happen. Probably a good thing to eliminate that habit for the next 18 months at least, maybe it will stick!
19mo post op = 162.7
b coffee x3, scrambled eggs
l- chicken piccata and zucchini leftovers
d-BBQ chicken thighs
v/l - track
e-hike
Have a wonderful day!!

Morning RNY'ers!! No internet IF?! Oh the horror:-)
my run is done- day 34 of runstreak. Is it crazy that part of me doesn't want to stop at 38 days? I will though- I need a lounge day- I can always start another streak.
We had to put down our cat last night. She was losing weight and when we came back from vacation we saw she didn't eat or use the litter box all week. Doc thinks it was some type of cancer, she saw a mass on an ultrasound. Poor mean kitty- we had her over 10 years. My kids are already asking is they can get a cooler, more fun cat.
Qotd: my street is having a block party. It'll be in the high 90's so I'd prefer to hang out u side. No plans for fireworks or the like.
Not weighing until tomorrow by choice. 3.2 years out
m1: egg, bologna
m2-4?? Gotta go shopping. I think all I have in hand are burgers and chicken wings.

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I got up a bit before 6 to get our morning walk in before it was sweltering--it's already 90 now--and got 4 miles in. We'll do at least another mile near sundown. QOTD the Nomads work from 8 to 4 on the 4th but in the evening we'll catch the Quincy fireworks. Accountability has been good with step goal met and no extrabites. Post op 5 years 10 months and weight at 118.8 today. Heres the food plan B 1 scrambled egg with cheese and 2 sm slices of bacon L 4 oz deli chicken and cheese rollup 1 lg slice grilled zucchini D 1 smoked sausage 1/2 c beets S 1 c smartpop white cheddar popcorn. And of course lots of coffee. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
Karen, it's not on your menu for today, but I've noticed that you have oatmeal with protein and peanut butter sometimes for breakfast. What protein do you use? Just curious.
