What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning!

Yesterday I had the 3rd test at the cardiologist (for those following along). The treadmill stress test. I was running along (apparently I can run....who knew?) and he was explaining things. Then he went all quiet and read the screen. I just kept running, and after I confirmed I felt fine, they took me up to 100% heart rate (180 bpm or so, I had to focus on not falling off the treadmill) and he stayed silent, reading. He smiled, said to the tech "racehorse" and walked out of the room for a sec. She grinned and said "That's a good thing".

After it was done, he went over everything from the holter monitor, the ECG, and this stress test, and there are no weird rhythms, no blockages, no concerns with my bloodwork, and my heart is healthy and strong. He said just keep on doing what I'm doing.

I've had this on my mind since the 1-year post op EKG showed that blip. Now I've had 2 cardiologists (the clinic doc is also one) run tests and tell me I'm OK. I'm so happy I can't even describe it. I think that's my favourite NSV.

My menu: Protein bar/chocolate peanut butter cup flavoured K-cup. Oh my sweet lord that's an amazing combo.

MS: baby bel, maybe a few chunks of watermelon

L: Chicken breast

AS: hard boiled egg, the rest of the watermelon

S: Unknown

QOTD: This is such a hard question for me because it's been a long time since I would consider any part of me a "favourite part". I've been told I have kind eyes. Hmm...I'm going to say though, that my favourite part is probably my calves. With the cycling, stair climbing and walking, they're rock hard. I wore shorts one day at work and a coworker felt them (not in a weird way or anything, she was just really shocked) and asked around for a walnut to crack on them. LOL

So happy all the results are good. I think "racehorse" is a compliment.

Good Morning, it's Fri-yay! JB, great pics and still loving the new hair. I am off work next week to finish this whole move thing! We will be moving everything but the big furniture type stuff during the week and next Saturday is the moving truck rental day and the first night we will be sleeping in our new home. It's going to be a hot so hopefully the heavy lifting (literally!) will be done early in the day.

No almonds! Yeah! I'm done with AMAW/CAMAW now, so those almonds may start calling me... let's see if I can eat them in a controlled manner.

Good morning! So thankful the weekend is here. I am headed to town today with my cousin today for a dr appt. My son also has a powerlifting meet in Portland this weekend. I am looking forward to the whole family being there together. They are always so fun. It's at a Cider house and it's a catered BBQ. Lots of good meat choices

QOTD- I really like my hair and my heart. I am a very kind person and I have great empathy for others.

Accountability- Must stay away from the cherries!!!

Plan for today-

B-2 scrambled eggs

L- We will be eating out at my favorite french cafe. I am planning on an omelet

D- steak kabobs on the grill

Always have a chomps in my purse, just in case.

I am going to start AMAW on Monday. I have been feeling bloated lately and its all in my stomach. I know its the carbs.

Lots of water today. I didn't drink enough yesterday. Work was very chaotic. Vitamins always on track.
