What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Happy Friday all! I did well yesterday on my first day of CAMAW. The only non-meat that I had was 2 protein shakes and eggs for breakfast. I resisted eating almonds a few times and didn't order my favorite slice of sweet potato pie for dinner, just steamed shrimp!
Today is the big day! I am allowed to go back to the pool for the first time since PS. I know that my endurance won't be what it was but I will certainly enjoy being back in the water and swimming.
For many years I had long hair that came to my waist. I really loved it but after many years it was thinning and I've had short hair now for more than 10 years. I still love my hair with its salt and pepper coloring. I actually like that I have grays because it makes me feel mature. Strange for a woman, I know.
Accountability: no carbs except my Premier protein yesterday!
Menu:
B1: vanilla Premier Protein shake, coffee
B2: chicken breast
Snack: Epic chicken bites, Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: 2 TJ's chicken sausages
Snack: turkey breast
Dinner: steak and steamed shrimp
Exercise: SWIMMING!
HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.

You have beautiful hair and eyes. I like my hair as well most days :/ ... I had a bad period in my late 30's early 40's where it got stringy and thin. I don't know if it was medication peri menopause or what. I'm one of the few people my hair got better after WLS.
Had my first nighttime swim last night about 10PM. It was so gorgeous under the stars. I was looking at the Big Dipper as I did laps. I had been cleaning all evening, Lauren- my-daughter-from-another-Mother and family arrive at around noon today. Yippee!! Anyway the pool was calling me.
