Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have 3 miles in this morning and will do another 2 or so tonight. No work today so plan to relax. When to a chapel service last night here at the Chaddock School. It was put on by the students and led by the chaplain. The most amazing thing happened before it started when one of these troubled kids asked the chaplain if he could play the keyboard a bit before it started. I was amazed as I listened to this troubled young man play Clair De Lune by Debussy--from memory with more emotion and feeling than I've heard from professional concert pianists. His care worker said he also composes some music on his own. I could have listened to him all evening. Truly sad to think he's so gifted and yet troubled enough to be here. Accountability was spot on yesterday with over 10,000 steps and no extra bites. Post op 5 years 10 months and weight at 118.8 today. Heres the eats B 1 scrambled egg with slice of cheese and coffee with creamer L 4 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c grilled zucchini D 1 bacon and cheddar burger 1/2 c lettuce with raspberry dressing on the side S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Had my 4 month check up and found out that the stomach/abdomen pain is an ulcer. So I'm back on the omeprazole and added carafate. Feeling some relief today. The pain started the day after I quit the omeprazole, so apparently I still need it. They also told me it probably isn't the food that is causing the nausea, so I'll have to try some things I eliminated.
The good news is I'm no longer MO now only obese.
They do want me to up my protein to 75g to prevent losing any lean body mass, and to up my workouts and lift some weights. I'm good with that.
I will try to up my shrimp to 3oz and see if I can get it all in. Add in another Premier Protein Clear at 20g protein. (Still can't stand the shakes)
But it's Friday and I work from home on Fridays and I have my counselor today, so it'll be a good day.

Well, today I am going out for lunch with my old boyfriend from high school & college whom I dated for 4 years back then. I haven't seen him in many years. He lives in Arizona now. It will be fun to talk and catch up on each other's lives and relive old times. I'm kind of excited about it.
QOTD: I like my eyes and I've also been told I have a pretty smile.
