Happy Wednesday!

It was a relatively beautiful winter day here. I managed to get all the old curtain tracks and brackets down today and two old light fixtures from the new to us house. And then painted 6 new sample colours. I was fairly tired after that lot. I am still not cleared to lift over 5kg/10lbs so it took some creativity to figure out how to drag everything over to the front window and dump it out.

I went over to the shop I sometimes work at and sat and stitched with the ladies till it was time to pick up my kiddo and take him to the gym.

I was a bit gun shy on foods today after yesterday's fun and games. So I didn't get to where I am supposed to calorie wise, but fluids were awesome!

B: decaf coffee, poached egg, couple of avocado slices sprinkled with Mexican One Spice

MT: protein water

L: ½ portion biltong

D: 1.5 grilled chicken tenders, 1 thin slice ham, 25g of leftover cheese bits

Wound up eating â..." of a protein cookie to take my medications as I had forgotten at dinner

2 litre of water! All vitamins/meds taken

exercise: house prep! And a walk in town...

Have fun,

Forgot: QOTD

I lots of smaller goals for myself... most of them are art/quilting related and the others relate more to fitness.

for quilting I am trying to get another quilt accepted into IQA Houston and I would love to be a part of Quilt National again. Others are finishing a dragon quilt that I have just designed and hope it works!

Fitness wise, I really want to do some more of the spectacular hikes/tramps/walks we have here in NZ. I need to get my Achilles and plantar fasciitis in a better place, but I am getting there slowly. I am part of a local bariatric group and we are planning on walking the Tongariro Crossing in April!

Have fun,

mathea

Good morning! Mouth still feels a bit tender this morning from yesterday's cavity filling, but otherwise it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. I've never had a cavity, so I'm sure I was expecting something like the dentist from Little Shop of Horrors to come attacking my teeth.

qotd: fitness wise, I want to strengthen and tone as I lose, which I know might frustrate me since the scale doesn't move as fast if I'm gaining muscle, but I'm losing inches so I'm ok with slower scale movement for now. And non-health related, I want to finish the book I'm writing. At least get a first draft finished. Baby steps.

Breakfast: coffee and Premier

snack: Greek L&F

lunch: deli ham and Swiss on a lettuce wrap, pickles

dinner: making shepherds pie with extra meat and mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes

hi all

yesterday i worked and studied, cooked this curry pork for dinner on cooked spinach/turkey bacon- and basamati rice for DH. the pork turned out really good. I did have a small square of bakers chocolate before bed. I bought some protein bars and they ended up being soy protein which does not sit well on tummy. so last night had a bit of stomach issue. oh and the eas edge ready to drink are also soy. they are 100 cal but make me bloat luckily i had the last one yesterday.

today we are having the ahi tuna- probably on cheese grits for DH/ shiritaki rice for me with spinach (it takes a while to go through a bag).

coffee/PP

water

protein pancakes

egg whites

QOTD: cleaning out closet, certain number of exercise days a month, completed certain projects in the house, used to have a reading goal before i started studying for this test in july, strength goals like 3 min plank, pullup those sorts of things.
