Good morning all! I am in a better spot today, but it is cloudy and calling for rain and thundershowers all day so not sure whether I will get outside or not. Also my right knee has been bothering me some since I started walking again. I may have pushed too hard after being restricted for 5+ weeks. I look forward to getting back to the pool with the low impact and strengthening it more.

Speaking of the pool, the PS has okayed me going back to the pool at 6 weeks, which is Friday! I expect that it will take some time to work back up to where I was but it will be wonderful to feel the water again and be moving!

QOTD: Most of my goals right now are related to exercise. I want to rebuild my strength and endurance swimming, be able to do some long hikes, and start doing regular strength training. I have to wait 6-8 more weeks until I can do ab work, but I may try to work with a personal trainer starting this fall. I like my alone time when I do cardio but classes and trainers are good for motivation!

Accountability: I did end up having a morning glory muffin yesterday. Very yummy but completely unneeded and not a good way to treat my mood! I did some extra snacking on jerky and meat sticks which at least were protein.

Menu:

Breakfast: eggs, turkey sausage

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, chomps

Lunch: fish, salad

Snack: turkey jerky, apple

Dinner: maybe shrimp

Exercise: I hope to get in a couple of short indoor walks and maybe an outdoor one if it isn't raining.
