I had to get a new license last week and I couldn't figure out how to change the weight, which like for you, was definitely a lie. Still a lie, but in the opposite direction! Also the old picture that doesn't look like me now!

I think that virtually everyone who has any sensitivity about what they weigh claims a fictitious weight on their driver's license! I still have my old CA license from about 2 years ago. It says I weigh 160 pounds! Which, after a year of bariatric honeymoon, I still don't weigh! Who was I kidding?! And my God, is that photo ever awful. Oh well! Onward and downward! Congrats on your pretty new license, Amy!

Who was I kidding, lol -you are so right! My old one said 185. I never thought about it beyond the number and vanity...but now I can imagine getting pulled over at 309 and the cop looking at me....okay, sure lady!

G'morning all.

Hope everybody is having a great week. Our trip to Yosemite went great. Not only I didn't hold back my family, I actually kept up with them on all the hikes to the falls. It wasn't easy. I'm still sore from all the high steps in uphill. I have tons of pics I can share on Friday. I also had my yearly checkup yesterday. All the labs results are great. The NP was happy with my progress, even though I was bummed I didn't reach 100 lb loss. But all in all it was good. I'll post about my surgiversary separately.

QOTD: I think it was about a couple of months ago when I had that Cheeto incident and ice cream. I learned my lesson. I might take a bite here and there of a food I'm not supposed to have but I'm not indulging.

Accountability: mostly protein but at Yosemite I also had watermelon and cherries. It was too hot and we had brought fruit on the trails.

B: protein shake

L: chili lime chicken burger

S: cheese

D: TBD

E: My trainer has me do sprints to get me over the hump of the 100 lbs. They are NOT fun but I'm willing to do whatever is necessary.

Happy Tuesday menu buddies! Today has started off awesomely! In fact my Tuesday mornings for the foreseeable future are looking to be quite amazing. Kicking off with a private pilates session is my new favorite thing. Then I drive 35 minutes to my personal training session. I am then home by 11 in time for AM snack and multivitamin. Busier than usual for me but I definitely like it.

Qotd: My first week in stage 4 I had a lot of little events going on where I was surrounded by dessert. I tried 2 things, a bite of a cookie I made, and a bite of a store bought brownie. Both super tiny bites and I had eaten a lot of protein leading up to both. I am glad I had those tastes though because to be honest they were completely disappointing. I haven't really been tempted since. The only other time I went off plan was to have a bite of lamb while out in Seattle. My husband ordered it for lunch and I thought I would have some for my lunch, just picking a bit off his plate. One bite in though and it was a near disaster! That sharp pain in my esophagus and across my chest...I guess they were right when they said lamb and some other meats might be too dry!

Accountability: Yesterday was very good. Water was right on and calories were good with protein right where it should be. To top it all I used the treadmill twice! Once as my workout, then again to get my step goal for the day. Although it has been brought to my attention that I need to lower my daily calorie burn goal...it is at 3000 right now.

Bf: 1 egg, 1 slice Dave's killer bread Powerseed Thin, 1t margarine, 1t sugar free preserves

MS: 28g Cello Parmesan Whisps

L: 3 Turkey Meatballs

AS: Maybe nothing again with such a big lunch, but just in case, a babybel cheese and 1/4oz pork rinds

D: 1/2 Baked Chimichanga from the Bypass cookbook. (Very good but could only eat 1/2 last night)

A premier protein if needed (wasn't yesterday) and 1/4 cup blueberries

about 750 calories, 70g protein, 120oz water, all vitamins, 50 minutes pilates, 50 minutes light workout, 30 minutes treadmill.

Happy Tuesday!

I did a bunch of paint samples on the walls of the new house yesterday. We still cannot figure out a colour for our bedroom. My son sorted his out pretty quickly and most of the rest of the house will be white. So much to do before we move in...

QOTD: I haven't really had the opportunity to really eat too far off plan yet as I am only a month out. I was a little early trying biltong/beef jerky, but it goes down well. But I don't think I will venture too far off the path yet. (At least intentionally)

on the other hand, dinner caused my first episode of a dumping like sensation or RH and that was vilely unpleasant. We had ordered Indian food, and I had a little paneer (soft cheese) with almost no sauce, a couple of koftas (cheese/veg balls), and tried a quarter inch cube of potato... I felt revolting about ½ hour after... I suspect the kofta might have been the culprit. One of the veggies used could have been kumara/sweet potato. That is what I get for not thinking. I was told to try potato as it is soft and while others here eat them more regularly, I think I will avoid them too. I doubt the quarter inch chunk did me in...

B: yoghurt plain, decaf coffee, protein water

L: chicken salad with some mustard, laughing cow cheese wedge

AT: pepper biltong

D: the aforementioned Indian food

Dessert: cup of Lemon, Ginger, Manuka Tea

water just ok today, vitamins totally on track

exercise: painting the new house and eight million loads of laundry

have a wonderful rest of the day!

Have fun,

mathea
