Good morning folks. I'm really out of sorts today for some reason. Well the reason certainly started with a water main break a block from our house that had icky brown water coming out of our taps. We called the water company and they confirmed the break and said that they were working on it.... Trying to be grateful that it isn't something wrong with the plumbing in our house...$$$!

I was late getting to work trying to figure it all out and that always puts me sideways. Oh well, here's hoping that I can get in a good walk today at lunch. It might help to adjust my frame of mind.

Menu: all attempts will be to make it protein forward but it is hard to stick to plan when I'm out of sorts.

I don't like when my day starts off out of sorts. I hope that you can find the mental "reset" button and the rest of the day is great.

Thanks Kelly. I got in about 4 miles at lunch today and that has helped some. Still some trouble focusing, but I don't feel like biting anybody's head off now!

I can relate. Sometimes I have to put my earbuds in and go to my happy place (as a supervisor, they like me to be able to hear what is going on so usually my earbuds are resting around my neck resting on my shoulders-for background noise).

Good morning :)

Nothing planned for today. I ended up going to my aunt's house after shopping yesterday and got my first sunburn of the summer. I put some aloe lotion on and puppy 2 decided it smelled/tasted really good, so he chased me around for a while.

QOTD: I don't remember the first time I ate something off plan but it was at least a year after surgery. Our centre doesn't like us using protein supplements, but I went on a trip to Disneyworld just a smidge over one year post-op. I did take protein bars with me and I have been eating them ever since. Also, my first dumping episode was about 1.5 years post-op when I had a couple bites of my cousins birthday cake. Costco cake is the devil -- way too much sugar.

Post-op three years and three months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg and pickles

Lunch - unknown actually... DH took the leftovers for his lunch

Snack - Greek yogurt and oatmeal bites

Dinner - burgers

Snack - pudding and cherries

All water and vits.
