Thank you for asking, Teena! He's doing pretty well. They closed the incision with surgical glue and you can hardly see it. Pigie is getting around his cage pretty well with only one leg. He uses his wing as a crutch or just hops on his remaining leg. He also uses his wings to flap from place to place. He can get to his food and water and is playing with his toys and interacting with us like normal. I think he's going to be just fine!
Great news! He is probably feeling so much better with the leg gone now.

Good morning :)
So Saturday wasn't my grandma's birthday party it was a surprise baby shower for us :) we had a ton of fun!! And we got some great stuff for the little nugget. Sunday we finally had our puppy playdate and it was awesome.
Today I'm going out with my aunt and mom before she heads back up north to her house. I'm mostly just tagging along as I don't need anything at the store they are going to -- Sail, the outdoor store.

QOTD: I am definitely a water baby so I will say oceans. I have swam/snorkeled in the ocean a few times but I do find the depthless parts rather terrifying. We snorkeled at a drop off in Grand Turk and I couldn't go over the drop, I had to stay where I could see the bottom. We also had a whale shark swim up to us where I panicked more than I would have expected. They are just huge!!
