Outside of the 6 week stint of couch to 5k-- no. I just periodically kept increasing my distance. When I got to a distance goal, I worked on my pace at that distance. So I started out doing 1 mile-- built to 2, 3, 4, 5 and now 6.5. I gave it six months or more before adding more distance.

I have little interest in doing longer distances-- so the streak is helping me be creative running more frequently and at different times of the day. I'd like to use the treadmill to help me with hills too.

Good afternoon,

Ive been to church and just had lunch. Then I'm going to see my dad.

Yesterday had small chicken quarter leg, pulled pork, vegetarian beans, and broccoli slaw at lunch. Later drank a glass of chocolate milk then a small elephant ear and later ice cream. For dinner had protein bar, almonds and kettle corn. No regrets

Qotd only thing I have planned that's close to a vacation is a four day Christian music festival in August.

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese, pork and beans and Hawaiian dinner roll

L tuna, cottage cheese and watermelon

Good afternoon! Another late post for me.

QOTD had to spend so much of my vacation early in the year for hubby's car accident and then when my brother died we had to drive to California cuz hubby couldn' fly due to accident mentioned above, that I only have thanksgiving and Christmas vacation left. I return to work tomorrow and will be combing the vacation schedule to make sure I didn't overlook a day here or there, lol.

Yesterday I was snacky all day so counts are a bit higher than anticipated. Call 652, prot 71, carbs 54, fat 18. For today B 1st tea with half and half then deviled eggs. L turkey pastrami sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers. D protein shake. Snacks turkey pastrami, brie.

Have a good evening!

Thanks for starting us off PeachPie!

I am excited to start walking/hiking again. Got some new sneakers and that will be helpful as the old ones were broken down and causing plantar faciaitis.

QOTD: It is actually winter here, so no major plans as to go anywhere. Maybe to the Winter Festival in Dunedin this weekend. We tend to go to destinations that are local as we live in a vacation destination. We are planning on a European vacation maybe next year. Depends on time and $$$.

Yesterday (Sunday) was a hideously bad eating day for me with the highest calorie total in a month. It was all good for me foods, but just too much. Reigning it all in today.

B: yoghurt, protein water, forgot to make a coffee for myself

MT: peppery Biltong (beef jerky type stuff)

L: Laughing Cow cheese wedges 2 and ½ low fat cruskit

AT: more Biltong, protein water

D: purée leftovers ( more carby due to one of the items being lentils) more protein water

½ kiwi crushie dissolved in water

vitamins and water on point

exercise: working on the new house

going to try tracking in My Fitness Pal as well as Baritastic to see which works better for me

Have fun,

mathea

I like Baritastic best but I find that since I try to pre plan and check off what I've done, I plan wveryb Omg our in one and then track consumption in the other. I know it shows how very compulsive I can get, lol

Just throwing out a third option that I really like and have used for years. Loseit! I don't know about the free version of the app given that I have the lifetime subscription but the food library and ease of use is pretty awesome. :-D

Late in the day but it was a long travel day for me.

Accountability - I didn't eat anything bad but calories were higher than I like - half an airline cheese omlette with a couple of berries, half a premier with coffee before I left home at 245 am for my flight, and then for dinner had a steak chefs salad, just ate the meat, eggs, cheese and a couple cherry tomatoes but feeling very blech after it. Because this trip is so long, and has both business and a wedding, I had to check so I did being a weeks worth of premier with me so that will help stay on track. 883 calories, 83 protein (best estimates) and 20 carbs.

qotd - I have a long weekend in NYC with friends next month (we're seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) but my summer trip was Iceland in May. Because I don't have to plan around school breaks, I try to to my vacations not in the summer so my team can take the time instead.

happy Sunday evening everyone!!
