What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning menu friends! Hubby and I are in Hannibal,Missouri until Saturday at Mark Twain Cave Campground. Lily and I got 2.2 miles in this am and then it started raining so we plan to get sime more steps in later. Hubby and I are taking the trolley to town about 10 and checking out the shops. It will drop us off right at the campground later--in fact last time he let us out right at our camper! Its a quaint little town with Mark Twains birthplace and neat little shops too. Accountability was good with no extra bites. Post op 5 years 9.75 months and weight at 119 today. I was miserable with gas and upset stomach yesterday after I had a Quest Hero bar. It was yummy--blueberry cobbler flavor--but sweetened with allulose which apparently my system detests just like it does sugar alcohols. No more of those no matter how yummy. QOTD tv is on whatever hubby picks as I barely watch most shows. I did find a show on netflix last night I actually watched--Shooter. Saw 4 or so episodes and loved it. Lots of action and very fast paced. Heres the food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L not sure as we'll be in town but some sort of protein D 1 c chicken and dumplings without the dumplings S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blackberry jam. I think i'm starting to have issues with sugar alcohols as well. I've had some gastric upsets lately (gas, cramps) that I can't really explain otherwise. And it does seem to happen more on days when I've had more than my usual amount of sweet things (I rarely do sugar - but I do eat things with sugar alcohols in them). Crap - they were a lifesaver for so long!

Every time I have any sugar alcohols now my stomach gets so upset so I've given them all up for good. So bye-bye Halo Top, Quest and One bars, even SF gum now too. I still look and linger and dream then eat my SF jello.

Yes the farther out I get from surgery the more they seem to bother me too.

Sugar alcohols kills me even in small doses! So many sugar-free foods have them!

I used to be able to handle a portion or two, then just a little, but not anymore. Even a SF piece of gum can affect me. It's so not worth the pain!

Good Morning! JB, your hair looks great-love the color. I hope you have an amazing weekend.

I am hoping that our flooring is finished up today so I can get to some deep cleaning tonight and tomorrow so we might be able to get some things moved in Sunday and it's going to be a scorcher here this weekend. Em is headed off to church camp on Sunday until Friday so things will seem off schedule.

Accountability: Added a protein bar and almonds

QOTD: During the evening it's usually news but at bedtime it's usually a DVD of either How I Met Your Mother or Big Bang Theory.

Time since surgery: 3 years 10 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Krave beef stick, Carbmaster cottage cheese, and iced latte dessert bar

D: Buddig turkey pack, low carb pita, spinach salad (Bleu cheese, walnuts and Skinnygirl raspberry vinaigrette dressing), peach and banana slices, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1285 Protein:114 Carbs:101 Fat:54
