Great pic! Also, what amazing accomplishments for someone with no arms. I guess there is a way to compensate for almost anything!

G'morning all.

Battling against the last .8 lbs to reach 100 before my surgiversary next week. Did all my lab work before my yearly check up. Everything seems normal and in range. I might post separately asking about ferretin. I recall some posts about it but can't remember the details and can't seem to find those posts.

QOTD: Not to be melodramatic but the idea of not being able to hug my kids brings tears to my eyes, so I'll opt to lose my legs. But in a perfect world I'll keep all 4 limbs!

Accountability : cals:645 protein:99 carbs:21

B: protein shake

L: chicken lime burger

S: cheese

D: pulled pork

Happy hump day!

Good morning~ Another day in paradise here w/no meetings or appointments again - YAY! I can't believe how much work I was able to get done yesterday. This last year was a DOOZY for me personally and I've been in a fog for so long. I didn't realize how much of my work was delayed or postponed...I'd been given quite a wide birth through it all. Management here is so amazing. Anyway things are much better and I'm feeling blessed in so many ways.

QOTD - Stick me on a rascal with hands, please! I would go crazy without hands.

Accountability - pure awesomeness

18+mo post op - 163.3 teetering here for over a week now w/maximum effort... come on

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

JB, your grumpy cat pic perfectly sums up how I feel today. I don't think I am doing anything wrong, but I am up 2lbs since Monday! I know fluctuations are normal, and I have gone over everything just in case... today I am going to increase my water to 120oz which is closer to what I used to take in anyway, see if that helps. Also, my husband stayed home sick yesterday and is still in bed today. Bah! Double Bah! But it is haircut day, so that is a bright point. I get my hair cut about twice a year usually so this is kinda a big deal.

Qotd: Quilting and art and video games! I would definitely choose to keep hands. Although the gentleman I met who did lose both hands could probably still do everything I say I would miss.

Accountability: I ended up needing to add something else to my day to hit the 800 calorie goal. So I tried high protein pork rinds.... what even are those? They were okay, surprisingly okay for their nutrition but I am not certain I liked them.

Bf: 1 egg, 1 slice Dave's killer bread thin powerseed, 1t margarine, 1t sugar free jam

MS: babybel

L: 1 ranch tuna packet, 4 triscuits

AS: 2oz cottage cheese, 1 scoop beneprotein, 1/2 serving pork rinds

D: 3 turkey meatballs, 1/4 cup raspberries

A premier protein pudding

About 800 calories, 80g protein, 120oz water, vitamins, 30 minutes treadmill, and 1 hour yoga
