Happy Wednesday all! I can't believe it's only Wednesday morning, this week is not going very quickly.

Accountability - good news, my vendor was thrilled about the salad place suggestion for lunch yesterday; bad news, I forgot to add the chicken onto my salad so it ended up being protein light; I stopped myself from eating the whole thing but with all the fruit and nuts, it ended up being higher calories/high carbs than I planned. Today will be better! I did get in both workouts I planned for yesterday so yay.

QOTD - my grandmother was in a wheelchair since my mom was young; my mom was in a car accident when I was 10 and spent quite a while in a wheelchair/has had issues with her legs since so I think I'd be well adapted to mobility issues ---and the idea that I could lose limbs or fingers/toes because of Type 2 diabetes was the reason I has WLS so I know I'd pick the wheelchair before the limb loss, hands down (oh, maybe I should rephrase that ).

B - coffee + 1/3 premiere

MS - coffee + 1/3 premiere

L - skyr

AS - baby bel

D - 2 oz deli roast beef, 1 oz unexpected cheddar

ES - 1/3 premiere

Totals - 562 calories, 71 protein, 21 carbs

Exercise - treadmill this afternoon

Happy Wednesday all!

Morning everyone!

Today is DH's first day back to work after his surgery (he got 6 weeks paid leave). I was a bit jealous for that but it was good for him as he had a bit more trouble acclimating and he had a torn stitch that caused him some pretty bad discomfort for about 3 extra weeks...but he is back to normal now so I am sure he will do fine. He is excited to go show off his weight loss...can you believe he has lost over 70lbs since starting his pre-op liquid diet? that's just 8 weeks....insane. Men always lose faster- so not fair LOL.

recent NSV: I ordered a swim suit from Amazon a few days ago that I've had in my "wish list" for a while- It's 2 sizes smaller than I have been wearing but I wanted it for a vacation we are taking in August and there was only one left in stock so I pulled the trigger and bought it. got it in the mail yesterday and tried it on and it FITS! it's slightly snug in the middle area but another 5-10 lbs and it will be perfect. I also realized most of my pants are definitely loose on me now so I am sure I could go down a size there but I don't need them yet so I will wait.

QOTD: no question I'd rather lose the use of my legs. I am an artist and not being able to use my hands would be devastating...not to say the loss of my legs wouldn't be too, but I think I could learn to maneuver myself in a wheel chair much better than learning to function without my hands.

Morning: coffee w/half caramel PP
B: half cup cottage cheese with 2 chopped up strawberries
L: leftover chicken crust pizza
S: Greek Light & fit yogurt
D: Asian apricot chicken in the crock pot w/ cauliflower rice

Good morning menu friends! On a bit late as we had to take the camper over to get the propane tank filled early so it will be ready to leave Friday. We work there 3 weeks, come home for 2 days and then head to Springfield Illinois for another 3 weeks of work at a relief distribution center. Lily and I got our 4 miles in this am in a drizzle and will do another mile sometime after supper. Accountability was spot on yesterday with exercise done and no extra bites taken. QOTD: As an artist the idea of not using my hands is horrifying but I will say hands. I know a now man who lost both his arms because at 16 when he was with friends tried to climb a fence that he didn't realize was high voltage. It's amazing as humans how we can learn to overcome. He is married with 4 children, does web development and does professional photography. Landscapes and photos for when people are selling their home.

B: coffee latte, overnight oats

preworkout: lite English muffin with ricotta and strawberry

L: Buffalo chicken salad, Wasa Cracker, tomato

D: mahi burger, spinach

S: protein drink

ex: gym, swim 20 laps in pool

thought I'd share this pic I got today. My granddaughter literally dancing in paradise. They are spending the week in Bali.
