Rainy here this week but we need it! Got back from vacation. ABQ to Flagstaff. To Vegas. Saw Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam along the way. It was 107 in Vegas and dry as a bone. Loved the monsters around cafes. Did eat a bite of dessert at dinner each day. Still lost a pound over the week from all the walking and being careful when making meals at condos.
Accountability is great. Limiting carbs better this week while trying new recipes from the Inspire website. Love tilapia with green chili crema but ate a little more fish still in calorie range but a little stuffed.
Visit with therapist today. Feeling more in control but still uber focused on food. I'd like to think more about goals and reaching them. I tend to change food menu multiple times each day. I want to plan and then stick to it so my time is devoted to creating good habits to replace old ones that aren't beneficial. I can drive by Cici's now without grieving the loss of little cinnamon rolls. Sounds silly but the 'head issues' have been hard to deal with.
I got glasses my senior year. I couldn't read the notes on the board from the middle of the room. Have had trifocals since about 45. I don't do progressives because they limit my range of vision when grading papers. I didn't do contacts due to astigmatism but haven't checked to see if I could in years.
Got to get back to gym and bicycle but am cleaning and doing laundry along with cooking for the week. Turkey cheese burgers with mufflata sauce today (low carb)

Your such an inspiration. Congrats on the nutrition. I think an all call out to Triscuts needs to be heard!! What a great idea (but low salt) I've been wearing glasses for the last ten years I suggest trying on Several frames, take pics of every pic you think you like. Show your friends and people you trust. Take a couple of days and then make your decision.
Hope this helped.
P.S. My coworker asked me about two weeks ago if I liked these new frames he purchased. Mmm noooo I didn't think they suited him but he's young and hip. So I said "Im on the fence". He appreciated my honesty
