What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Congrats on your loss! Just keep at it and the loss will happen in time! I found at your point that I needed to increase my fluids again and that really helped to push me through. Just a thought!

This sunday is our braves game- we got 6 tix free games through a home depot promotion (we better get some freebies out of the mass amounts of $$ we have spent). we are playing orioles?
QOTD: I've worn glasses since 3rd grade. I went though a period though of contacts until I finally gave up. they dry out my eyes soo bad then I get those build up infections.
i stopped wearing contacts for the same reason several years ago but recently started wearing the daily disposables so I don't get the protein deposits. I have bad allergies and my eyes get super irritated but my ophthalmologist suggested Alaway eye drops- put them in about 5 mins before your contacts and it's like magic! I can wear them at least 8 hours now without irritation.

I had one of my favorite, quick, under $2.00 meals last night--Green Giant cauliflower in cheese sauce paired with an envelope of albacore tuna. Green Giant Veggie Tots make the grocery list sometimes, too. This country-mouse is driving to the city today with a plan to buy a Tim Horton's iced coffee for $1.00 any size; last week's trip-treat trying out Starbucks delicious eggbites took my tightwad pocketbook for almost $5.00. Speaking of tightwad, "Yes" to zennioptical.com for $5.99 prescription eyeglass shopping. Uffda, money figures are on my mind today--is that an omen to ditch the iced-coffee idea and buy a lottery ticket instead.
Good morning! I think I may have missed it, but did you take the job at your former company (or another one)? If so, when do you start?
We went to our favorite restaurant last night and are going on a sailboat today. Dutch pea soup for lunch. I've never been a fan of pea soup but this is supposed to be great stuff. The replacement of our deck at our Cape Cod home starts today. I hate the cost, but it had to be done and will look great (and be easy to maintain).
QOTD: I was extremely near-sighted for most of my life so wore glasses or contact lenses (mostly the latter****il 8 years ago when I had laser surgery. After that, I don't need them for distance, but I do need reading glasses unless there is a lot of light and the print is big enough. But the trade off was worth it. I love being able to get up in the morning and see everything right away.
2 Years, 2.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 18.5 months)
