G'morning all - it's almost Friday!!
Foggy day around here, but no complaints because it cools down the temps and we like it that way.
JB - floors look GORGEOUS!!
QOTD: I am so so proud of DD. She is one ambitious young lady. She is double majoring in college, but is also interested in extending the program to 5 years and get her masters instead of taking a gap year between under grad and grad school. She is working her tail off in the summer with three internships, two of which don't even pay her but it's in her field and she loves it and it's good for her resume. She just keeps her head down and does what she needs to do keeping an eye on the prize. I am in awe of her.
Accountability: cals: 770 protein:96 carbs:26 trying to get the cals down in the 600s
B: protein shake
L: cauliflower rice + shredded chicken
S: yogurt
D: chicken skewers or chicken meatballs
Have a great day everyone.

Wow! The floors look absolutely stunning! Very professional looking finish.
I am still feeling a little lonely with the house being empty now. But it is sorta nice to have the quiet back too. I know my husband seriously missed the silence, and it was good timing because he came home from work in a terrible mood. Hoping today is better for him but it is not looking likely.
Qotd: This morning I weighed in at my lowest in my adult life. I know it is the surgery doing the work right now, but I can't help but be a little proud of it.
Accountability: Yesterday I ended up around 800 calories which seems to be where my body is happiest. It feels like a lot this close to surgery still but less than that and my energy is non-existent.
Bf: 1 egg, 1 slice Dave's killer bread thin powerseed, 1t margarine, 1t sugar free jam
MS: 2oz cottage cheese, 1 scoop beneprotein
Lunch: not sure I have a meeting this afternoon and might have to stop at the store on the way home
AS: 2oz refried beans, 1/2 oz Cabot extra low fat cheddar
D: 2 slices Canadian bacon, 1T low sugar marinara sauce, 1oz fat free mozzarella, 6 slices turkey pepperoni, 6 pieces pineapple tidbits
A premier protein pudding with 4 strawberries in the day too!
About 750 calories and aiming for 72g protein
Be VERY proud of your wl. The surgery gives us the tool, but it's up to us to use it and "work it". Every pound you lose it's YOU doing it.
Great job!

Good morning!! The wood floors are gorgeous!!! Well done JB and Grim!! It's Thursday and I'm feeling good about my resolve lately - very good! Now for a wrench...Someone in my office is retiring today and they are have a Mexican feast w/nacho bar in the break room. Heaven help me! I will need to avoid this at all costs. The last Mexican food potluck sent me spiraling and I can't have that again. I know me and it won't be good.
QOTD - Proud of my new dedication being mindfully active in every way I can - where I'm at now (meaning mentally capable of...). I want to get back to weight training and swimming eventually (I miss it so much) I'm just not quite there yet. I still have a lot of body issues, but I will get there.
Accountability - I had some avocado on my salad and a handful of peanuts I didn't plan for.

Hello Everyone,
First day of final exams at my school. Just a few more days left and I can't wait. I'm looking for a summer project but I'm sure I couldn't do wood floors although I sure wish I could. The upstairs of our house has carpet that is in awful shape and having cats and kids that visit with dogs and cats I'd rather just switch it all out for wood.
QOTD: So proud of both my kids. I have 23 year old twins. My daughter just graduated with her Doctorate in Pharmacy and is starting a year long residency at a hospital in Tulsa, OK. My son just left his job at Tulsa Ballet and will be moving to his dream company as a dancer at San Francisco Ballet. They've both worked so hard and accomplished so much that they inspire me. I'm also proud of myself for working on the food devil that haunts me. Just started with a therapist that deals with eating issues and I'm looking forward to it. I'm proud to have lost the weight but prouder that I'm working hard to keep it off.
B: coffee with premier protein
S: Tuna Pouch
L: Grilled Chicken Tenders with snap peas
S: leftover salmon
D: Not sure. We have our annual retirement dinner tonight and I have no idea what will be served. I'll be protein forward and pray I can avoid all the other crap!

Ooooh, are you willing to share your son's name?
We go to SF ballet often (my daughter is a huge ballet fan, having done ballet since she was 3). I'd like to look for his name in the program.

Sure! Cavan Conley is his name. He is a senior soloist at Tulsa Ballet but will start as a core member at San Francisco in July.
