What's on your Wednesday menu, RNYers?
Good afternoon!
JB, sorry the floors need more work. I can imagine how tired you are of this project.
QOTD: When I was working I always took my lunch hour and I read while I ate. I rarely went out for lunch because of the expense but also going with others meant I couldn't read. Now, I read or watch TV while I eat breakfast and lunch. Dinner is at the table.
Yesterday I donated blood. Probably won't do that again. I received a text saying my type of blood was urgently needed. The donation site was the mobile unit. They were running 35 minutes behind. The first try at getting a vein was a disaster and I have a huge bruise on that arm. Another was made and it worked but took quite awhile. They put a cuff on my upper arm and kept pumping it up. I had to squeeze the rubber ball every 5 seconds. I didn't feel well afterwards at all. Took it easy all evening. DH even managed to prepare himself a meal.
Breakfast: oatmeal w/Peanut butter
Lunch: protein shake; Greek yogurt
Snack: Swiss cheese
Dinner: potstickers
I need to add some veggies to my menu.

Good afternoon!
JB , I know you'll be glad when this project is over!
QOTD I usually eat at my desk and read. When I go back to work, I think I will have to stop the reading in order to be mindful of my chewing. One day last week, I decided to update my menu to reflect a change and swallowed b4 I should have, and that was an epiphany, lol.
Yesterday cal 600, prot 77, carbs 21, fat 20. Today B 1st tea with half and half, then crustless quiche muffin, L garlic hummus and deli turkey. D TJ's chicken sausage. Snacks 1/2 premier shake, ligjt string cheese, Greek plain yogurt, cottage cheese. Maybe some blueberries somewhere in there.
Happy hump day!
