Wow...600? My NUT had told me to up my cals after the 6th month to 800. That's where I've been for the last 6 months.

I guess I can give it a try. Thanks for the advice.

I was told by my NUT to eat 800-1000 calories a day and to include carbs like crackers, bread, rice and potatoes. I would never have lost this weight doing that. There are a few people on here that maintain their loss around 850 cal. Some can go as high as 1400 cal per day and still maintain, but I seriously doubt I will be that lucky.

The only thing my Nut is insisting on is fruit and veggies. I don't tell her I'm not having fruit. It honestly depresses me thinking I need to give up my afternoon cheese and don't know what else to go down to 600. But anything to reach goal. I'll give it a try.

It took me 18 months to lose the weight. I would stay the course. You are doing well.

My house is empty now. Everyone left, my husband is at work, his sister and her family are on the long drive back to Arkansas. I won't lie, I am a little lonely and sad right now. At least now I can really get back to focusing on my diet and water and vitamins. Nothing was bad while they were here, but I absolutely could have done better.

Qotd: Lunch used to be my sticking point. I hated that meal in general; it would interrupt my day and I strongly dislike most lunch options, so I would order delivery. Then I would feel obligated to eat -all- of it, usually quickly enough so that it would be gone before my husband came home. Since January though I have been making a concentrated effort to take care of that meal the same way I do breakfast. I -do- watch a show while I eat it, but it makes me sit at the table, prop up my tablet and then I eat slowly while Top Gear plays. Always protein forward now too!

Accountability: Okay, I did struggle not to have some of the nephews kraft macaroni and cheese last night. I don't even like it, but making it for them made it tough.

BF: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice Dave's killer bread thin powerseed, 1t margarine, 1t sugar free jam

L: 2 slices Canadian bacon, 1T low sugar marinara, 1oz mozzarella cheese, 6 slices turkey pepperoni, 1/2 oz pineapple

Good morning menu peeps. I slept great last night, so feeling energized this morning. That is unusual these days, so I am going to enjoy it. It is going to be relatively cool today, so laundry is my plan. Lots of laundry. It will also be a good day to get in a nice, long walk.

Hope today is the day you finish the floors. Ugh, all of that dust from the sanding is the worst. I thought I kept a clean house until I had the floors redone. It looked like a haunted house with the floor dust sticking to cobwebs I hadn't noticed before.

Accountability: I have been killing it for the last couple of days. Fingers crossed I can keep it up.

QOTD: I rarely took lunch and just ate at my desk. Sometimes I would take a quick walk, but mostly I answered emails.

3 years, 7 months post op.

Yesterday was a prep day, so I have plenty of protein on hand:

B: 3 oz taco meat with egg beaters, pico de gallo, sour cream and salsa.

S: Zenner's chicken sausage link, 1/2 cup cherries

L: 4 oz chicken schwarma, mashed cauliflower

S: 4 oz chicken tenders

D: 3 oz copper river salmon (yum), 2 oz grilled eggplant

S: 3 oz prawns

Totals: calories 877, carbs 36, protein 123

Have a great day everyone!
