What's on your Wednesday menu, RNYers?
Sorry you aren't done yet. I wouldn't have the patience to do that project. Thank goodness you have Grim!
I'm missing my little doggie Justice. I hope he is faring well as he has to be in the crate a lot longer than usual each day with only DS at home. Next week our deck is supposed to be replaced and not only will he be in a crate, but he will hear banging and strange people's voices. I hope he won't feel like he is back in the shelter again. Not ideal, but I thought it would be better than a kennel. DS walks him when home, then hangs out with him and lets him sleep in his bed.
QOTD: I never took a lunch break either. I always ate while I worked. Now that I am retired, I do try to take the time to sit and eat, preferably outside but definitely at a table.
Accountability: I need to dial back my vacation eating. I didn't like the number on the scale in the gym this morning.

Always lots of coffee...

we have to replace our deck, too - it was a DIY job (not by us), and there's some wood rot on both the deck and the window below. I'm thinking of doing a screened porch instead, though. A LOT more money, but I'm thinking we might use it more. It gets so buggy in the summer here that I hate being out there!!! Hopefully we WILL use it more if we do a porch, though!!
Yeah, bugs are no fun. Ours is fine during the day but once dusk comes we have to retreat.

Personally, do not have the patience at all! I literally got frustrated a few times and wanted to half-ass something but I thought : WWGD (what would Grim do?) and I bucked down to do it right :P
Good morning JB and menu crew. Sorry to hear about your flooring project, making me realize there is no way in hell I could have refinished mine. Last night I went for a 3 mile run when I got home, hit the Hot Tub, showered and off to the Golf Scholarship dinner and home after 8 pm, watered the garden and flowers and sat down a little after 9, I slept very good last night.
QOTD - I mix it up, some days I eat while working, some days I walk and eat while working and some days I go home and let the dog out and then eat while working.

I LOVE the Costco chicken skewers. I buy like 5 packages every time I go to Costco.

Good morning :)
Doctor's appointment and groceries on the schedule today. I sat around waiting for the UPS shipment yesterday instead of doing errands. The window was 10am-2pm, so of course they showed up at 4:50pm. If the depot was closer I would have gone out and just risked it, but last time I had to drive 30 minutes away to get a parcel that I missed.
Puppies just came in from outside and both are very wet. So of course they want to snuggle. I think we will hibernate for the rest of the day other than my appointment lol.
QOTD: I usually try to get away from the office during lunch when I'm working. I do stop to eat and sometimes play on the internet or my phone. I always hated working places where you couldn't easily walk to something during lunch. One place I worked I used to go for a walk some days -- the road didn't have any sidewalks though. A few co-workers stopped to see if I needed a lift back lol. They thought my car had broken down or something.
Post-op three years and three months.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - egg, pickles
Lunch - leftover chicken
Snack - Greek yogurt, oatmeal bites
Dinner - beef tacos
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Yes, hope today is the day!
I don't think I shared this little tidbit yesterday but I am 0 for 2 with the kitchen gadgets this spring. Made a nice slice in my finger with a mandoline Monday. Have to go back to urgent care today to have it rewrapped. Monday night I only slept 2.5 hours from the pain, last night slept like I got hit by a sledgehammer.
B: coffee, overnight oats
B2: (pre workout) PB on low carb wrap
L: grilled chicken and bacon on salad
D: Steak, curried veggies
S: strawberries and Greek yogurt, protein drink
ex: gym
