What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Congratulations on the offer and the work on the floors. I know they will be beautiful when done and your Mom will be thrilled. Definitely weigh all pros and cons but I'm sure you'll end up in the right job. It will be easy compared to the floor work!
DH was much more oriented yesterday after more sleep and hopefully today will be even better. We ate on our patio here last night and had a really good chat.
QOTD: I'm very cranky when tired. Not as much when hungry unless I'm tired too!

Good morning JB and menu crew. Hearing your description of sanding the floors makes me happy that I just hired someone to do our dining room. He tells me that with his equipment we do not need to worry about dust, that makes my wife happy. More than I want to spend, but he comes highly recommended.
The job offer seems interesting, they really like you if they want to bring you back. Go with your gut abd good luck.
QOTD - I used to flip ****LOL....now I never seem to be really hungry as I eat like clockwork...Sunday when we went shopping we brought a small cooler with water, cheese, pepperoni and protein shakes....we did not need to go out for lunch...
B - Protein shake
S - Glazier hot dog
L - Chicken salad
S - cheese stick and cheese whisps
D - unsure as we are attending a scholarship dinner for Senior Golfers.A few years ago A local family lost their son a year after his graduation , he was a golfer. They hold a big golf tourney in his honor and give all Senior members of the golf team a scholarship. It is a very moving tribute and I think it is a wonderful way to carry on his memory.

Good morning. Dreary day here, but the temps make it feel like a fall day. I love it! It'll be 7 inches from the sun again in a few days, ugh.
QOTD I am just like a baby, if im very tired I'm cranky sometimes to the point of crying. Not my proudest moments.
Yesterday cal 579, prot 82, carbs 16, fat 18. Today 1st tea with half and half, then cottage cheese, blueberries, and hummus. L Greek plain yogurt and deli ham. D Greek plain yogurt and roasted chicken breast. Snacks deli ham, cottage cheese, blueberries, string cheese.
Tonight a few ladies from church are getting together for some girl time. My first outing since surgery. I plan on taking some of my snack items in case the snacks aren't friendly.

Good morning everyone!
So nice to finally hear you got a real offer JB- good luck in your decision making- it's nice to have options like that isn't it?
DH smoked a whole chicken yesterday for dinner and it was delicious. we'll be making several meals out of it.
We decided to do our workout together last night, which we usually do on our own time but it was nice having someone to talk to and made it go by faster. I hate cardio- hoping to get to a point where I actually enjoy it eventually. Is there a time it actually stops feeling uncomfortable? or is that kind of the point? Maybe that's why people love it- masochists!
I wouldn't know- I've never been a healthy weight and I have always hated cardio LOL.
QOTD: I have not really been "hungry" more than 2-3 times since my surgery but I can definitely get short tempered when I am--especially before surgery...I think I dieted enough times that I kind of got used to it and learned to reign it in though. the tired thing is much harder for me to control though. when I am tired my brain just doesn't function at the speed I need it to in order to stop myself from reacting irrationally.
I'm not super vicious when I get angry though- I just get super passive-aggressive.
Morning: coffee w/caramel PP
B: 1/2 c cottage cheese w/chives
L: smoked ranch chicken salad w/cheddar
S: Greek L&F yogurt
D: leftover smoked chicken w/fajita seasoning & veggies
have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

I think I started to enjoy cardio when I realized how much easier it was as a much smaller version of myself....
