G'morning all.

Had a great weekend. Beach party on Sun for about 6 families to celebrate the start of summer (schools closed on Fri). It was so fun seeing the kids in the water surfing, skim boarding, SUPing or whatever they wanted to do. We ordered subway platter sandwiches and had tons of fruit. It was a great day of relaxation and sun. And I wore a bathing suit!

QOTD: my best and dream job was when I was working for the Italian consulate. The way it works first you get hired by the ministry of foreign affairs through a SAT type of testing, and then they decide which country to send you depending on their needs. It's usually a 4 year assignment. I loved it and I loved the fact that we bonded with other embassies/consulates employees too. We used to have parties with other embassies that were so much fun. Plus the experience of just working and living in another country. It was a DREAM job. Sigh!

accountability: did really good BUT I had some unplanned fruit yesterday on the beach. Watermelon and cherries.
