Morning all.... It's Sunday yeah said no one ever (except those who work on weekends and Monday is their Saturday) today I'm doing work work and later this afternoon I am meeting a friend and we are booking our tickets to Nashville. Next month a small groups of friends are getting together in Nashville to celebrate turning 50....

Beautiful, peaceful picture! We made it to Aruba and were on the beach in bathing suits within an hour of leaving the plane yesterday (a record).

QOTD: Much as I love Aruba AND Florida, my heart is on Cape Cod. I just love the landscape, the sea coast homes and everything about it!

Accountability: Not great, not terrible. I'm on vacation... Daytime is easy now that I've shopped though (just follow my usual routine).

2 Years, 2 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 18 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Either tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese OR Emiepie egg salad

D: ?

S: Nut thins and hummus

Good morning! I had a very full day yesterday starting with a 5 hour hair appointment--I was bleached, colored, and then given a cute layered bob cut that feels really thick and full, to disguise the thinning. My stylist said she saw new growth though, so I'm hoping the hair loss will end soon! She warned me that in the next few months I might have a halo of baby hair and look like a baby duck. I then had lunch with my cousin and we went to a tattoo parlor to set an appointment to get matching tattoos of our family name. And we ended the night by seeing Puddles Pity Party, a sad clown with an AMAZING voice. His whole show is mime except when he sings. He was on America's Got Talent and you can look him up on YouTube.

Today will be spent cleaning he house and getting ready for our Denver trip this week, and writing up instructions for the person who is coming to check on our cats and water the garden.

QoTD: I love to visit places and travel, but ultimately my favorite place to be is home with my kitties in my garden. I feel so contented and at peace in my own home.

Breakfast: Premier and coffee

lunch: the other half of the chicken burrito from yesterday's lunch (just eating the chicken, black beans, and cheese from the insides)

dinner: something easy that won't generate leftovers. Likely turkey burgers. I don't want much left in the fridge while we're on vacation.

Pics of new "do" (I will likely not take the time to curl it like it is in the photo on my own though!) and a pic we took last night with Puddles.

Thank you! I know I don't have the patience to curl it like she did, but when do hair styles ever look like they do when you leave the stylist? Lol

i feel super sassy and happy...just from a haircut! And it probably helps that I suddenly dropped about 9-10 lbs just in the last week ;)

That's why my pic is one I took just when I got home from getting mine cut and colored pink, lol. I knew it would not look like that again!

Hi everyone!! Day 14 of run streak is in the bag-- 38 miles. I also walked the dog, grocery shopped, tossed in laundry and put on dinner to marinate. I accomplished far more than I usually would have by this time of day. Only other plan for the day is my son's piano recital. I'm excited as I haven't heard the piece he's working on from beginning to end.

Qotd: I love to be anywhere I'm in the company of the people I love. Some of my best memories growing up was hanging around the kitchen table with family. Place is not important to me-- company I'm with is.

214.5 today, 3.1 years out

m1: protein bar

m2: Greek yogurt, berries and blueberry muffin

m3: ?? Maybe a 1/2 sandwich

m4: chicken in a garlic wine marinade and salad
