What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Hi everyone. Happy Friday! It is gorgeous outside- excuse my nose prints on the window- I want to be out there! This weekend by boy has his piano recital- I'm excited to hear him play- he has been practicing like crazy to perfect it. I also will take him to the bank to deposit a stipend he got- the summer jobs program gave it to him for applying early. He's pretty excited over his first 'paycheck'. If only they could find him an actual J-O-B.
I'm starting to get used to this run streak I'm doing. I'm on Day 12 and added it up- 25.9 miles so far! Although I have no interest in keeping a daily streak- I see where I can fit in a few more short runs a week.
QOTD: Bands-- only one that comes to mind is New Edition. Everyone rocked to Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike in my neighborhood :-)

Good afternoon!
I walked into work again today and it was nice and quiet. I needed that because I didn't really sleep much last night. I plan to remedy that tonight though. I have NOTHING on the books for plans and I aim to keep it that way, get to bed by 10 and get a solid 8 for once. I'll get up in the am and go to the market for "meep sticks" (my 8 yr old has called them that since she started talking, and we just stuck with that). She loves them and who am I kidding? So do I. I get the "purgatory" spiced ones while she likes "medium".
Menu is the same. Bars and shakes. I had planned on packing a good lunch today but I just dragged my arse too much this morning after a long night of staring at the blinds and counting them.
QOTD: I crank up Guns n Roses and ACDC whenever I hear them. That was my thing back then, but my repertoire is so wide that playlists on my phone really have people scratching their heads on a road trip. LOL
OMG.....that picture is hilarious!! Taking the weekend off sounds like just what you need.
QOTD: Can't remember that far back. :) My favorite old song is Bob Seger's Ole Time Rock'n Roll. I told my husband I want it played at my funeral, and he said no.
Friday morning is my cleaning time....ugh. I do feel good after everything is clean and polished. The kitchen and bathroom floors have been steam cleaned. This afternoon I'm getting a haircut and doing grocery shopping.....another fun thing....NOT.
B: Greek yogurt w/2% granola
S: Protein shake

A little late this morning because we went out for breakfast and couldn't wait another moment to leave because my nephew was "hangry". He is 4 so telling him to wait doesn't really work.
Given my own family cir****tances I just need to say real quick, I am so thankful for my husband and his family. They are just happy, friendly, and loving people.
Qotd: Black Hole Sun. Whenever that song comes on I crank it... even more so since Chris Cornell's death. Bittersweet Symphony is another one. Most of the band's I listened to growing up are still putting out new stuff, but sometimes I go back to the older albums. I always have music playing too.
Accountability: 1/2 serving of the real good pizza was unfortunately not enough. So I had the full serving (half of the pizza). That put me at 900 calories for the day which was a lot but it was spaced well and it was 80g protein.
Bf: ate out. 1/4 slice sourdough toast, 1egg, 2oz ham steak
MS: 2oz cottage cheese, 1oz pears mashed
L: 2oz lemon pepper canned chicken, babybel cheese
AS: sugar free pudding, 4g pbfit, 1 scoop beneprotein
D: 2oz ground beef and veggies in a tomato sauce
