What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Floors are beautiful JB! You and your parents are like me on our work trips--little knowledge or ability at anything but willing to learn and eager to help. It's a wonder none of the leaders has killed me yet! Hot humid day here in the cornfields of Illinois. Lily and I have our 4 miles in and will do another right before the sun goes down. QOTD an eclectic mix: The Eagles,Hall and Oates,Rick Springfield,Joan Jett and John Denver are some that I always sing along to to my hubby's dismay. Post op 5 years 9.25 months and weight at 119.6 todang--dang you prednisone. That's weight gain while absolutely following my plan with no extra bites. It is what it is--I need the med right now to move so I won't beat myself up just stay on plan and do my best. Accountability was good though I switched dinner out for 2 small square pieces of meat pizza. Calories and protein right on line with a few more carbs. I fought the snacking urge all day and spent lots of time drinking coffee,tea and knitting. Heres todays food B 1/2 steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 4 oz deli ham and cheese 3 baby carrotsD 4 oz pork patty 1/2 c green beansS sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. So sorry for the weight gain! You are so vigilant and I know it is upsetting to see the scales go up. Unfortunately Prednisone will do that. Take care and keep at it. Hopefully you won't need it for long.
