You're very welcome. I forgot, during the week IF I have an evening snack, it's usually some ff greek yogurt mixed with berries OR maybe 2 oz of peanuts (watch those though, they're deadly for calories so I usually leave them alone). I do my best to stick to decaf coffee in the evenings as my "snack" and pound the water back, especially if I hit the gym or I've been walking in the evening. For gym trips, I'll come home and have some sort of protein as a recovery, along with 1/2 a banana for the potassium boost or my leg muscles will SCREAM at me.

G?mornig Julia and menu peeps!

It?s almost Fri. Today is the last day of sophomore high school and the last two finals for DS. And of course the two most difficult subjects : physics and Trig/pre calc. I?m sitting here looking at my phone every two minutes expecting a text from DS to tell me how he thinks he did. I hate it that there is so much pressure on these kids all through high school for their grades in order to have a chance to get into a good college. All these advanced/AP classes + taking extra classes at community college to get ahead and rise above the crowd. It?s a rat race but we are all in it and can?t afford not to be in it.

QOTD: capris size 8!!! It?s starting to get warm, I don?t feel comfortable in shorts and jeans are too hot. So I compromised and got capris. First tried size 10, they were comfortable but I thought to myself ?let?s dare and try 8?!! OMG! They fit. I walked out with two capris and a big goofy grin.

Accountability: A chunk of Asiago cheese (not planned) found its way into my mouth. Who put it there???

B: protein shake

L: cauliflower rice and shredded chicken

S: Parmesan cheese

D: lime chicken burger from TJ.

The week is almost over! Yippee

Good luck with the floor work again today. I don't blame you for adding calories. I find it's far better to just plan to have more. If I find myself grazing I'm usually screwed eating wise for the rest of the day.

QOTD: Mine sentence is.... Made our deadline. I had a student that won best leading actor in a regional musical competition and now he will go on to compete nationally in NYC. They gave him exactly 24 hours to turn in huge amounts of information including recording of interview questions and singing new songs. It was a crazy amount to get done in such a short time but thanks to his hard work and the work of several of my generous colleagues, we go it done!!

B: premier protein and coffee

S: tuna

L: sirloin, ham and cheese

D: chicken

Good afternoon,

I had a job interview at the daycare behind me today. I should hear something tomorrow about it. I really suck at job interviews. Also got a resume sent to an assisted living center . Have a couple other places in mind.

Accountability had a protein bar during the night otherwise I was on plan.

Ive been decreasing the amount of Splenda I use and cut out crystal light, I haven't had the cravings for sugary stuff since Tuesday. Dr agreed with me that I use too much when she looked at my food journal. Maybe this is the answer to my binge eating problem

Qotd Very productive day, even exercised

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and asparagus

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D garlic honey chicken and riced cauliflower

Have a good evening

Can I ask how much splenda and crystal light you were having everyday? I've heard of this also and I was wondering how much is too much.

Good luck on your job search!
