Good morning :)

My massage ended up being cancelled yesterday as the RMT was sick. I called DH and we met up for a lunch date. Today I'm going to another doctor's appt to get the ultrasound results for this week. I'm curious to see how baby is growing -- it was moving like crazy.

QOTD: this whole week has been "not as planned" lol. Dealing with scheduling changes, puppies with diarrhea, cold weather, and DH having to go into work after hours. I'm a creature of habit and routine so I much prefer when I know how the week or day is going to go :)

Post-op three years and three months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - homemade muffin

Lunch - leftover chicken stir-fry

Snack - Greek yogurt

Dinner - meaty spaghetti sauce

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Good morning menu friends! Beautiful day here in Illinois and Lily and I got our 4 miles in already. We'll do at least another mile after supper. Accountability sucked. The prednisone my doc has me on for swelling makes me want to eat. Luckily it's only for two weeks but til then I'll be drinking and knitting to keep the snacking urge away. Feeling a bit better still. Labwork showed inflammation-- I could have told you that . Lyme test not back yet.. Post op 5 years 9.25 months and weight at 118.8 today. QOTD sorting and rearranging. I did tons of straightening both at the food pantry and at home. Heres todays food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1 smoked sausage 1/2 c blackeyed peas D 4 oz pork patty 1/2 c green beans S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of smart choices! Now off to find the first of many cups of coffee!

I'm sorry that you are still hurting! Hopefully it isn't Lyme, though. You are doing pretty good with your weight on the prednisone so far. I have a friend who has to go on prednisone for myasthenia gravis periodically and she really struggles to keep her weight down when on it.

It is tough it really makes me feel like I need to eat. I just have to remind myself I'm fine and find something to keep my hands occupied.

oh yea - that's a very common side effect of prednisone. I'm glad you're only on it for two weeks. I'm always afraid of meds where weight gain is a possible side effect - because I'm one of those who WILL gain weight on it!!!

morning everyone!
I put on a Jean jacket today that I bought about 3 weeks ago. I got it slightly too small so I could wear it longer and it wouldnt button...it buttoned this morning and it looks SO GOOD. I am enjoying looking in the mirror for the first time in about 10 years. it's a good feeling.

QOTD: "nothing too exciting"--literally, yesterday was a regular day with nothing out of the ordinary LOL.

Morning: coffee w/caramel PP

B: 3oz turkey breakfast sausage
L: 2 philly cheese steak stuffed mini bell peppers
S: string cheese & light & fit greek yogurt
D: leftover turkey sausage kale & beans

have a wonderful day everybody!
