What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
I don't mind driving as such, but most of my driving is WAY too insane and stressful and because DW doesn't drive, I am in the driver's seat more than I'd like.

I'm glad your interviews went well! I think you're smart to keep looking just in case.
Ive been brainstorming an idea for a mature YA book, and after the gym I finally took my laptop to Panera and started writing. I had a cup of black bean soup and Asian salad with chicken (pick 2) instead of my planned dinner. Is it odd that I was able to eat it all, minus the side (apple) which I brought home? I guess it wasn't very dense? Anyway. I likely won't order food again when I go back, but I did really like the ambiance. Plenty of white noise, big enough place that I didn't feel like I was bothering anyone by camping at a table. But next time, probably just a tea or coffee.
Qotd: I was injured plenty of times as a high school athlete, but I think the pain that stands out to me now is when my gallbladder was going rogue. Gallbladder attacks are no joke! I thought I was dying of a heart attack.
Breakfast: coffee and premier
lunch: Just Crack an Egg bowl
dinner: salsa chicken with cheese and sour cream
snack: likely some Greek yogurt before bed

I love their black bean soup! The real problem there is that most things have lots of bread and sugar.

My carbs came in at 52g yesterday, so it was higher than normal, which I attribute to the black beans and the dressing on the salad, most likely. I can't say I have any regrets though, both items were delicious!

DW & I took my Mom to Panera for Mother's Day lunch. They both had sandwiches and I had a cup of black bean soup and a small Chicken Caesar salad with the dressing on the side. I ended up really just eating the soup and most of the chicken with a few bites of romaine. Not all that bad. That said, I'm in maintenance and can generally eat more. I usually avoid Panera though because their bread and pastries are so good and tempting. It is a nice place to hang out and meet people though!

Yup! I wasn't too tempted by the breadstuff this time, But I feel like that may not always be the case. It's a great place to meet people or go by yourself to get some work done.

My bookclub meets at Panera, and my bookclub treat was always their oh so delicious brownie. Now I order at the kiosk and don't go near the bakery display -- just eliminates temptation. I love their tomato soup but you do have to plan ahead for it carb wise!
