What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
JB, the flooring is beautiful. Great job! I too love birdseye maple, it has such a lovely grain.
I had a run in with a really strange old man yesterday when I was out walking Tuffy the lab around the lake. This island is extremely beautiful, but it has a reputation of being unusually far to one side politically, pretty much the opposite side from my own inclinations. I never paid too much attention to that and basically try to be courteous to everyone and hope to find kindred souls amongst those i encounter. It's too long and odd a story to relate here, but it was a very weird and uncomfortable encounter. He felt not just strongly politically opinionated, but beyond that, into very strange and cultish territory. Anyway, I had intended to walk just a bit further, then to turn around and take Tuffy home, as she was moving stiffly and I didn't want to overtax her sore hip. But after that encounter, I didn't want to turn because I didn't want to walk past his house again, in case he was still outside! So we walked all the way around the lake instead. Thankfully Tuffy seemed to limber up during the walk rather than stiffen up. People can be very strange and believe the most bizarre things!
QOTD: Hard to tell, but it's one of these two: When they woke me up immediately after my RnY to ask me how bad my pain was on a scale from 1 to 10. Had I just been run over with a big, heavy gas lawnmower, chewing it's way into my stomach, I could not have been in worse pain. Luckily as soon as I responded they knocked me back out, and I wasn't in much pain from them on, but the pain in that brief moment was unreal.
Another horribly painful time was when I had an ectopic pregnancy. I was 32. It took hours for them to get me into an operating room, and they wouldn't give me anything for the pain until I was almost ready to be wheeled down the hall. The pain was beyond belief. Labor was painful, but this was far, far worse, and only getting worse by the minute as I continued to rupture and bleed internally. When my gynecologist finally arrived he did attempt to operate laproscopically, but there was too much blood for him to see what was going on, so he had to open me up. The recovery was rough too, but those hours before surgery were truly excruciating.
First: big mugs of tea!
B: eggs with ham and cheese
L: tuna
D: beef tips
S: not sure yet, totally protein forward though!
I'm just about a week away from my 1-year surgiversary, so am pushing a little bit for an extra pound of two of loss, just for the pleasure of enjoying my first year stats. So I'm back down to 600 calories a day instead of 650 for a few days, as long as I can hit at least 60 grams of protein.
Have a wonderful day, my friends!
The floors will be beautiful. Looks like lots of hard work.
I'm really stressed today. Long story short, my adult son lives with us and he lost his job 3 weeks ago. He has a couple interviews coming up tomorrow, but not working for 3 weeks really messes with out budget. He is supposed to pay us $200 a week. That takes care of his part of the rent, utilities, cable and a car payment. I'm trying to have faith everything will work out, but I'm really down today. So far, I've not eaten crazy. In fact, nothing sounds good.
Breakfast: Protein shake
Lunch: 4 potstickers
Snack: Protein bar
Dinner: Quiche Lorraine from the OH newsletter
