I for one, would like to see her food amounts w/carb and protein counts.

.Need to challenge her when she returns to post a 3 day complete diet and nutrition/supplement schedule.

I am eating eggs as a main amount of my protein as it gets hot and is easy to have boiled eggs/poached etc for substantial amount...I like the babybel, but it does NOt like me, I can tolerate one if I use it with lactaid milk...taken 45 min ahead or behind...for lactase enzyme...taking triple doses probiotics has helped but not relieved milk issues.

Hi Daisy!

I want to thank you for the time that you invested in the RNY daily menu board. Like many, I am pre-op and trying to learn what to expect. When I came to OH this winter, your board was the first thing I began to follow and I have learned a lot.

Hope you are well.

I love to hear when pre ops or new post ops are reading the boards, reading the menu thread and learning!

There is so much more than just surgery that goes into having WLS. Please do stick around, join the menu thread if you want, everyone is welcome!!!

If you ever have a question you can PM me if you don't want to post on the boards.

I am doing well thank you, all is good.

Hope you are doing great too!

Please don't hate me but it makes me actually sad to see all the posts about snacks and 'what can I eat, here or there' Food is an addiction. I can say with all honesty I don't think about food. I eat a good breakfast. Dinner and supper. Protein first and that's it. I have been successful and want this for all of you.

it makes me sad to see that you think your way is the only way and everyone who doesn't follow your way, is doing it all wrong.

You couldn't possibly be more arrogant or sanctimonious.

Been snacking for seven years straight now... with pauses for sleep, sex and riding my bike. Nearly 180 pounds kept off suggests it works for me (although perhaps it is the sex, not the snacks?).

I think you need to clarify your concerns... my snacks are all high fat, high-protein, low carb. I suspect you are targeting other food groups?

If you want others to be successful, you can start by not shaming people who have questions.

While I don't like to toot my own horn or put the cart before the horse, I have maintained my weight eating 4-5 small meals per day. My bariatric program, like Daisy stated, recommendations 3 meals AND 3 SNACKS per day.

I really think your problem ( and it is YOUR problem...no one else's. ) is the word "snack". It seems to have a negative connotation for you...maybe as a MO person someone got after you or insulted you for having snacks..and it stuck with you that snacks are bad.

Also, and I hate to bring this up, but are you REALLY successful if you slacked off on your vitamins for years and years? Really?

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
