Good morning! I walked in to work today instead of biking. I had another close call yesterday, and though I had my helmet camera mounted backwards to see the driver, they were shaded by the roof and I still couldn't see them. Sooooo I decided that with no legal recourse or help from police, I would just save my biking for now and try to go back to walking. I love cycling so much and walking is pretty boring, but it's going to get me to and fro in 1 piece, which is more important.

Menu is light today. Protein bars, shakes, coffee and water. Grab n go day.

QOTD: Same as you JuniperBerry, Princess Bride 2 would be cool. I love that movie and watch it often with my girls. I can't think of many more that I'd want to see at the moment. I agree, I can't WAIT for the INcredibles 2. I don'****ch a ton of movies anymore, but I think there are a lot of franchises that should stop making more. Fast and Furious, for example. Star Wars is even losing me now with all of these add-on movies. I loved the originals, thought the next 3 (which are really the 1st 3 in the storyline) were "OK" and then it started to lose me. The Disney effect I guess, it's just not the same anymore and seems to be a milked storyline. Today's young SW fans will never truly appreciate what "Han shot first" means.

Have a great day!

Good morning :)

Off to have another ultrasound today to see how baby is growing. We did not have a good night. DH had to go to work and puppy 1 would not settle after he left. The puppy 2 had a few bouts of diarrhea - I'm hoping this is just a brief side effect of his heartworm medication.

QOTD: oh, I'm so torn about sequels... What if they ruin it? I was trying to think of some of my favourite movies that don't have sequels and came up with True Lies and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I do love when sequels come back with the next generation -- the kids of the original movie lol.

Post-op three years and three months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - toast and PB

Lunch - leftover chicken wrap

Snack - cabbage roll casserole

Dinner - leftover burgers

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Good morning menu folks! Lily and I have our 4 miles in and will do another mile after supper. Accountability was good yesterday with no extra bites. Post op 5 years 9 months and weight at 118.8 today. Still have swelling and achiness in all my joints. My rheumatologist gave me a short course of low dose prednisone so I should feel better in a few days. He also did some blood tests for Lyme disease so we'll see what that shows. Hoping that this is just a fluke of some sort and resolves quickly. If not I might have to go back on methotrexate for my RA which made me feel nauseous and generally yucky and made my liver enzymes high. Just doesn't sound like much fun to me! Here's my food plan for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli ham and cheese 3 baby carrots D 1 c ham and beans S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone and makevsome smart choices! Now off to find some coffee!
