What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
You must have been close to 1973 too? The drinking age turned 18 in Massachusetts the month I turned 18 (March 1973). We were going to clubs and kids even younger were sneaking in as they weren't consistent about checking IDs back then. Crazy!!

I graduated in Rochester NY in 1979. Not sure when it changed in New York to 21. I went to college in Illinois where the drinking age was 21 so that was a rough change!

Super late post for me, but I had a PT appt. for my elbow. I thought the appt was at 7:00. It was at 8:00 so I was 1.5 hours early. This weekend was not so good on the accountability front. It was my brother's wedding weekend. I tracked what I could, but after a discussion with my doctor, decided not to stress about it. The rehersal dinner was at a mexican restaurant. I ate guacamole with a fork, ordered carne asada soft tacos and ate the guts out of them with 1/4 of a fresh handmade tortilla. I didn't drink and had no dessert and was rewarded with BS at 33 on my drive home (that was fun). I was super stressed at the wedding, because I didn't want to end up in a sweaty incoherent ball in the corner of the room, but I didn't drop below 50, and that I can handle.
JBQOTD: My graduating class had 1,000 students. My graduation sucked, actually. The AP tests are about 2 months before graduation, or something like that. One of my classmates had Chicken Pox, but they allowed him to take the test, sitting in "isolation" on the stage in the all-purpose room where they were administering the test. "Isolation" with other people around you really isn't isolation, so 21 days later, I came down with chicken pox. If we ever have a "show me your most disgusting picture," I would post one from my grad ceremony. I had the world's biggest pox all over my face and body. have you seen the commercial for "skittles pox?" Picture that, just not as colorful. Anyway, I was allowed to go to the ceremony, but was not allowed to go to grad night, or any of the post ceremony parties. The only bright side is that I got out of taking all of my finals, except for 1. Timing is everything, kids.
My plan:
B: a turkey and cheddar P3 pack (not the best, but what was available)
L: I have cheese sticks and sliced turkey in my cooler bag
D: Tr tip (I think)
S: Latte (I needed the caffeine) and I brought a yogurt, but that's a lot of carbs for me. So, maybe no yogurt (cause there's no way I'm saying no coffee)
I know it's not photo friday, but here's a pre-ceremony photo with my brother.
