good morning everyone!

My weekend was pretty lazy due to having those plantar warts removed from my feet, I couldn't do much walking aorund and needed to keep my feet elevated a lot to keep swelling minimal but we did go to my sister's house yesterday afternoon for a few hours to hang out with some family and friends for a little BBQ.
I don't realize how much walking I need to do just to perform even simple tasks til I can't use my feet! They feel a little better today but still pretty sore...hoping they will feel better by this coming weekend so I can actually get something done!

QOTD: I graduated in 1996-My HS class was 588 students and all I remember about graduation was that it was a super hot day and it was outside on the football field and everyone was dying of heat LOL.
I was in the top 90th% of my class but nothing special since there were so many kids. I really don't remember a whole lot about my HS experience and don't talk to anyone I went to school with very often. I still get FB requests from some of them and I have no recollection of them. I was a shy kid who hung out with the Art freaks and the drama nerds.

Morning: Coffee w/caramel PP
B: 2oz turkey bfast sausage and 1/4c cottage cheese
L: leftover chicken crust pizza
S: greek Light & fit yogurt
D: probably another piece of pizza (this recipe was amazing btw if anyone wants to look it up)

have a great day everyone!

I've tried every kind of meat and veggie pizza crust you can imagine! My favorite was ground chicken by far. I put a lot of seasoning in the meat. How do you make it?

we used 1lb ground chicken, 1C shredded parmesan and 1 egg, a little garlic powder and some Oregano I think. We spread it out thin on a cookie sheet and I'm pretty sure we had to bake it longer than what the recipe suggested in order to get it nice and dense/crispy...I think it was about 25-30 mins at 450 degrees.
then we put sauce, cheese and toppings and baked another 15 mins or so to brown the cheese.

when I put the recipe into MFP it came out to about 175 calories per slice (came out to 12 square slices), 2g carbs (probably from sauce) and 17g of protein. it was super satisfying and tasted/felt like real pizza!

Qotd: I hated high school. I was bullied, and felt the entire thing was a waste of time. They weren't training us for anything, just how to memorize nonsense. I aggressively chose not to do homework or study. But I still ended up in the upper middle portion of the class of 2000. What really made the principal angry was that I was friends with the top kids in my grade. He once called me the "most frustrating student to come through those doors". But the vice principal who dealt with my father at the same school about 18/19 years prior, corrected him by saying, "No sir, that would have been her father". At least I wasn't a trouble maker!

Accountability: I didn't feel good at all yesterday. I am on an antibiotic for 2 more days and it is really messing me up. I got in a few more calories though cause I forgot that I'd had a morning snack already.

BF: 1/3 serving cream of wheat, 1 scrambled egg, 1/2 oz fat free shredded mozzarella

MS: sugar free jello, 1/2 premier protein

L: 1/2 string cheese, 2oz deli sliced turkey, 1 laughing cow wedge

AS: 2oz refried beans, 1/2 oz Cabot extra low fat cheddar

D: 2oz chicken apricot tagine

A protein jello cup (pudding or gelatin, not sure which I will make)

670 calories 74g protein

Your story about the school and your dad made me laugh.

My FIL supposedly was a trouble maker while in high school. He graduates, goes to war in Korea, then comes back and with GI bill goes to college. Eventually he becomes a teacher. So he goes back to his old high school applying for a job. Same principal from when he was in school. The principal tells him "over my dead body you'll work here, didn't like you back then, don't want you here now!!" Talk about holding a grudge OR my FIL was a lot worse than he let on!

G'morning all,

crazy Monday as usual. Adding to the craziness is DD being home from college and today was her first day of internship. My girl has gotten herself not one, not two, but three internship jobs this summer. The added craziness is due to the car that she has to share with her brother. So we had to have a meeting put all of our schedules on the table and see which of the two kids gets the car and who is driven by me (what an embarrassment!!!). At least for this week I'm the designated driver for DS to school until school is out and HE starts his internships then all bets are off and we gotta regroup again for driving plans.

QOTD: I went to school in Italy and we didn't have graduation ceremonies from high school. In fact I remember watching American movies and thinking all those graduation ceremonies were from college. I guess we consider graduating from high school a given. They don't even give us a diploma. They just transfer our grades to the college we are going to. Our first graduation ceremony is from college. But I was really excited when DD graduated from high school, I was finally seeing something in person that I had only seen in the movies.

B: protein shake

L: shredded chicken and cauliflower fry rice

S: cheese

D: TBD, protein forward

Happy Monday.

Happy Monday Everyone,

My weekend was crazy again. Seems like everytime I think things will be settling they aren't... Oh well, I guess I need to figure that all out. I spent the majority of the weekend at the ER with my husband who was experiencing cardiac symptoms. He seems fine although they aren't sure what happened, and then on Sunday I found out we are having a week of unexpected company! Oof! Needless to say my CAMAW went down the drain over the weekend. I tried to make the best choices but by the time I got home from the hospital I was so hungry I just grabbed food. Back to CAMAW again today although I'm working an awards gala in New Haven after work and will be out till midnight... wish me luck with my plans.

QOTD: I graduated in a very typical hs graduation with a class of 400. Nothing special about the day. I do however remember that legal drinking age at that time was 18 so the last day of Sr classes as we pulled out of the parking lot they handed us all glass beer mugs with the school logo on them... can you imagine that!! Curls my hair to think of it.

B: coffee and premier protein

L: Ham and cheese roles

S: Ham and cheese roles

D: Hopefully I can find a salad with some salmon on it and I'll just have the salmon.. that's the plan.
