Good morning! I kept super busy all weekend and was outside a lot. I am not ready to go back to work today, but it's only one more week and then next week we are heading for Denver for Denver Comic Con.

Qotd: My HS graduation was typical, there were 320 of us in an auditorium. The school orchestra played, the choir sang "Time if Your Life" by Green Day, and some stuffed shirts from the school district gave some speeches. I was one of 4 Valedictorians and I gave the closing remarks speech. I have a copy of my speech somewhere, I think.

Breakfast: peaches and cream Premier, coffee (not mixed, just want to use up the new flavors I bought!)

lunch: we ate at Buffalo Wild Wings yesterday and I still have part of my bunless chicken sandwich. I might take some sliced peppers and hummus too

dinner: salsa chicken thawing in the fridge that I'd frozen from a bit ago

That's awesome that you were one of the valedictorians for a class that large, Cassie! You genius, you!

Lol I'm not sure I was a genius, but I do to this day have a knack for remembering things like trivia and dates and facts, so I did well on tests without much studying. It but me in the rear in college and I struggled a bit more!

I'm sure you have a full agenda (I will be walking the line between fan girl and stalker of David Tennant, personally) but maybe we could meet up in person!

Hi JB and OHer's! We had such a great weekend...we went for a long ride on Saturday...stopped and looked out at the water from one of our favorite places...finished the day by meeting up with the 2 grandsons for dinner. Great day...Sunday I cleaned, did food prep, laundry then we did a mini movie binge watching the first three Mission Impossible movies... I always do other things while the tv is on...I really kind of watch one or two shows later at night but during the day it's just mostly background noise. My husband watches the tv way more than I do. If he's not here it's not on.

QOTD...my graduation ceremony occurred with other local Catholic high schools in the 60's. We had the all girl schools, the all boy schools graduating together. The ceremonies took place at the Seattle center...then off to parties after. I didn't physically attend any college graduations..

B 2 hb eggs

L cottage cheese, salmon packet

D hamburger patty

Have a great day everyone

hi all- exciting weekend. Itty bitty the chi is on the mend and I think he is going to live from the copperhead bite last monday. Time will tell for sure but he is a tough one!! We had excitement int he house yesterday afternoon because Zooey (the 4th chi, yes we have a chi problem) ran over to the door and started growling- lo and behold a SNAKE was in the house at the door trying to get out! it was non venomous and I took lots of pics to get postive ID in case we needed to kill it. It was n eastern milk snake and harmless so we let it back outside to 'do it's job' and kill more copperheads.

saturday night was a real bust for me foodwise. couldn't sleep so decided I needed ice cream? which meant major RH 2 hours later. feed the monster.... it wasn't good. the positive thing is that the last time this happened was 1/2 a month ago so it appears to be decreasing in frequency instead of weekly.

QOTD: I went to a very large HS. There were about 650 in our class. It was held at a ginormous church that held everyone and you only got a certain number of tickets.

food for today:

coffee with protein drink creamer

coffee

water

leftover salmon strips from dinner

chicken

Gym tonight (deciding on location)
