What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
Good morning everyone! It's 77 degrees here in Missouri but it's headed upwards. I went to church last night because hubby's men's group was singing. They also are singing today at 8:15 and 10:45 services. We only have one car so getting up and taking him to the first service wasn't to my liking.
I have a pork loin, carrots and potatoes in the slow cooker. Our associate minister is retiring in a few weeks and I'm making her a quilt. I got that laid out and put together with batting and backing. I'll work on quilting this afternoon. My mother had a strict rule about not sewing on Sunday. I don't follow that rule. Sewing is one of my favorite hobbies. I have several movies recorded so while I sew, I listen/watch the movies.
Today's eats:
Scrambled egg w/Laughing cow; 1 slice 45 calorie bread
Unjury protein RTD
Johnsonville turkey brat; Greek Yogurt w/granola
Strawberry protein shake
Pork loin; carrots; small potato maybe

Happy Sunday morning folks! Yesterday was good despite the back pain. I walked around the mall with a friend and got some new Stitch swag and a few bubble bars from Lush.... which brings me on to....
QOTD: When I am sick, or not feeling good, or have back pain bubble baths are typically the very first thing I do. Some eucalyptus, or lavender oil, Epsom salt, and mountains of bubbles. After surgery though they told me no baths until after the incisions had closed! This was something I was not aware of pre surgery! It was heartbreaking. In the hospital when the nurse said that, my husband commented that if I had known that I wouldn't have had the surgery! They laughed, I pouted.
Accountability: I missed a snack yesterday so only came in at 575 calories. But got my protein and water goal anyway. Was NOT tempted by anything at the mall, except maybe a $400 lego set, but food wise, nothing.
BF: 1 egg, 1/3 serving cream of wheat, 1oz fat free shredded cheese
MS: 2oz cottage cheese, 2oz mashed pear
L: 2oz deli sliced turkey, 1/2 string cheese, 1T cauliflower hummus
AS: 2oz refried beans, 1/2oz cabot extra low fat cheddar
D: 2oz chicken and apricot tagine
A premier protein pudding
670 calories 73g protein
I just got on here wondering what on earth happened to the thread I started on this (i.e., Sunday menu) - and realized what happened - I posted it the wrong forum. Duh! I just deleted it. Glad you started one over here, Librarian67!
anyway, not much going on today, although I really should get out because it's a beautiful day - and it's supposed to be a great week, too - sunny and 70s. Too bad it wasn't like this last week when my MIL was here!!
QOTD: I've never really had anything major that I had to heal from, so I'm not sure how to answer this. I do seem to heal pretty quickly, though..
3 years out today!
B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein vanilla latte shake
L: 1 C leftover Chinese food (spicy ground pork and noodles - although I hesitated to eat the noodles...) and L&F peach yogurt
D: I'm thinking turkey taco meat with the fixin's (but no tortilla, of course...)
ex: yoga

It is Queens Birthday Weekend here and we are all just taking it easygoing. It is cold (winter is June 1st) and we are having some antartic blasts. We won't see snow as we are coastal, but the mountains are getting snow.
QOTD: Sleep, water, and protein seem to be my friends as far as healing goes...
B: protein shake (I actually got it down this go)
L: yoghurt cup (plain high protein) small soup
D: soup and Yoghurt
Only just over a litre of water, need to focus more on that tomorrow
