What are your meals when you are out and have no plans?

Am I the only one that goes to a grocery store if I'm out and about and need a meal?

I get deli meat, cheese, boiled eggs, small individual salads, fresh berries (or any fresh fruit), greek yogurt, nuts, cottage cheese. Some groceries have hot food available, too.

There is so much to choose from and it is easy to not get processed food. If it is a grocery store with a Starbucks - that's a plus. I get iced green tea unsweetened.

I keep plastic spoons, forks and knife in my car.

Still close to surgery, so my meals are tiny and more frequent. Default is a side of steak from chipotle. I forget, I think it's like 2-3? and it's pouch-sized perfectly. you can just order the meat a la carte. Haven't gotten a whole bowl in forever.

Also get hard boiled eggs from gas stations.

I love the Starbucks egg bites but I always get sick after them since they came out long before surgery. I suspect they aren't entirely gluten free. :(

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Thanks for the Chipotle tip. I don't go there often but my son loves it because he can eat a lot cheap.

Oh to be a skinny boy.

I'll have him bring me some home.

I wonder what on the egg bites would be gluten?
