What are your meals when you are out and have no plans?
I discovered you can buy egg rounds and sausage a la carte at McDonalds, and it's absolutely delicious when craving breakfast. Chik fila has grilled nuggets that are quite tasty. Subway has a wrap now. I get one wrap with the steak meat, and I can eat almost half. I save the other half for lunch the next day. Not the lowest carb item, but okay for me when I've had a good day, and can afford some carbs.
I am a big fan of the egg rounds and sausage, I find eggs are very filling for me. Chick Fila grilled nuggets are another great option, not many Chickfila in the Northeast, though one is opening in our area this summer...yeah to healthy options!

Right? I was so overly excited about the egg rounds and sausage. Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal!
Starbucks: sous vide egg bites, Moon Cheese, turkey jerky. Some of the Starbucks around here also have a salami and cheese pack that works - it's often too much for lunch, so I don't buy it often. I don't do caffeine and their passionfruit iced tea is my summer go-to.
I now buy Moon Cheese at Target (waaay cheaper) and always have one in the car.
We were at our college reunion the past two days. I brought a blender bottle and protein powder and didn't need it. Eggs at the hotel for breakfast, the deli meat and cheese out of a sandwich for lunch, and various meat offerings for dinner, plus Moon Cheese snacks. I now feel much more confident that I can eat anywhere.
Convenience stores and supermarkets around here often have chicken or tuna salad bowls (we have WaWa, which has wonderful chicken salad). This can be dicier in the summer but works well in the winter.
Gas stations - I usually buy a sandwich and eat the filling but not the bread.

I will jump on board to everyone saying gas stations. Quik-Trip is a big chain here and has all kinds of food. First, we'll start with the important part, Unsweetened Mango Papaya tea. Delicious. Next, they have jerky packs, nuts, protein bars, cottage cheese cups, greek yogurt, and protein drinks. They really are an amazing "Oh, I haven't eaten in 4 hours, I need something" establishment. Oh yeah and coffee. Great coffee.

Someone would have to serve that to me, because I couldn't make myself add milk to rootbeer lol! You could use arctic zone ice cream though, or halo top.
