Congrats on the job! There is no better feeling than being hired back by a place you loved working. I was fortunate enough to be brought back to the rink I worked at a few different times after moving away.

I might not be able to post tomorrow. I am heading out crazy early to catch a ferry to a one day fabric sale! My sewing friend (who had this idea) clearly does not value my sleep.

Qotd: I was in high school in the late 90's. I was sorta anti fashion though. We were extremely poor so I didn't have much choice on that. The only thing I desperately wanted that was "fashion" was a pair of Doc Marten's. My mom did work at a hallmark store though so whenever she could she would bring home beanie babies for me and my brother.

Accountability: Spot on!

BF: 1 scrambled egg, 1/3 serving cream of wheat, 3" mashed banana

MS: 2oz cottage cheese, 3 slices mashed peach

L: 2oz deli sliced chicken, 1T cauliflower hummus, 1/2 string cheese stick

AS: 1/2 serving seafood snacker stick

D: 1 tuna pouch, 1t miracle whip

A premier protein pudding

About 640 calories, 68g protein

Half hour on the treadmill

Congratulations on the job offer JB. It's great you liked your employer. So many people hate their jobs.

Took my dog to the groomer so it's a little lonely without him. She is a new groomer for him. First thing she said was, "He's so cute!" She's a keeper.

I started reading Fern Michaels' SWEET REVENGE last night and couldn't put it down. Finished it this morning. I do love reading.

I won't mention the years. I think all of you are way younger than me. One fad was wearing your dad's white dress shirt. Another was wearing white canvas shoes with hosiery.

Breakfast: Greek yogurt with granola

Lunch: Cheddar brat; bean pods; melon

Snack: Protein shake

Dinner: Chicken & Wild Rice Casserole; salad

Snack: Wasa cracker; Laughing Cow cheese

The wild rice doesn't bother me but white rice just won't digest.

Afternoon JB and OHer's! Such peace giving news on the job front! Congratulations JB... very nice news and good options....sigh for you!

QOTD... I was a teenager in the 60's... wore a uniform to school but after!!! Loved my Cher pants(tweed wool stove pipe low slung hiphuggers), my hairy vest(still have them)...wore lots of minis(got married in one), loved palazzo pants, loved the swing tunic tops that could double as a dress and usually had long matching floppy legged pants to go with them..loved my velvet smoking jacket and matching pants(and velvet chunky shoes)that I wore with a black tie(very avant-garde, well I thought anyway)...I was a fairly adventuresome teenage.... lived just north of downtown Seattle ...loved all of it.

Hi all! I just realized, at 6:19 Pacific time, that I never sent this post! I was very busy in the morning and got interrupted, then just forgot!

Congrats JB on your job offer! How affirming to have them show so clearly how highly you're valued!

I'm concentrating on liquids today. Over the past day or two I only ended up having one 19 oz. Mug of tea before breakfast instead of my usual two, and I could tell I was slightly dehydrated last night when I took out my contacts. I still had a lot to drink, but that extra 19 ounces made a difference and I could tell, because my eyes were dry. So today I had 38 ounces before breakfast once again! Apparently I need that.

QOTD: I was a teen in the 60s and 70s. In 8th grade, I had a thin, fitted navy and light grey-blue diamond patterned mock turtleneck top, with tights that exactly matched. I wore those with the coolest ever navy suede miniskirt. I didn't have go-go boots - my mother objected to them - I think she had visions of me frugging in a cage above a nightclub floor, or something. But in the winter i had gorgeous high, high boots, two pairs, one was cream suede and the other was dove grey suede. I loved loved loved those boots with my short skirts! In high school I had a cool dress that had a very slinky, 1940s vibe, except that once again, it was very short. I really liked that dress, it was very flirty. And I had a very long coat, to my ankles. And another coat that was embroidered suede with fur lining! That was a fun era. I also thought 80's into the 90's clothes were fun and most were very creative! The shoulder pads may have been a bit much, though!

First: 38 oz of tea

B: London broil

L: shrimp

D: ham and smoked gouda

Hope everyone's had a beautiful day!
