What's on you Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone!
I had a weird day yesterday. I was in a funk the whole time and just didn't feel well. It was hard to tell if I felt bad because I didn't feel well, or didn't feel well because I felt bad. But whatever it was, I just wanted to crawl back into bed all day. I already feel better today, so a good night's sleep was just what the doctor ordered :)
Accountability: What is that? Yeah, it was a bad day... Copied yesterday menu back to today because I think it was a good one, and will try again. I did run my mile, though.
QOTD: What is something you like doing the old-fashioned way? I do at least one crossword puzzle a day, and while having the NY Times App on my iPad is nice, I really prefer doing them in print.
Have a great day everyone!
Morning menu folks! I'm back at my home computer teleworking today. I really overdid it yesterday and ended up in alot of pain and swollen. I went to bed early with my feet propped up on pillows, drank some extra fluids, cuddled several cats and had a good nights sleep. I feel much better this morning and ready to go at it cautiously again today.
JB, I totally agree that a good night's sleep can make alot of things better! Keep us posted on your job progress. Swinging a flock of chickens your way!
QOTD: Well, old-fashioned...I don't have a dishwasher because our kitchen is too small, so I always wash my dishes by hand. Like you, JB, I like to do my crosswords on paper, not electronically. I usually wash my bathroom and kitchen floors on my hands and knees instead of with a mop. I find reading in bed easier on my tablet, but I truly love physical books. I only buy them in certain genres any more though -- cookbooks, craft books. I go through too many novels to shuffle paperbacks.
Menu: continuing to focus on protein for good healing
Breakfast: ham, hard boiled egg
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, cashews
Lunch: leftover roast beef, baby carrots or broccoli slaw
Snack: protein shake, cantaloupe, almonds
Dinner: salmon, broccoli
Exercise: 2 short walks...that's all I'm still allowed to do!

Ha, that is funny-- I am the opposite. I love to read cookbooks and recipes online (hello Pinterest!) and do not like them in physical book form at all anymore. I like the option to take the general idea from a recipe and google other versions until I find what I like.
I've been staying up reading the last few nights and not going to bed on time. I've been so tired. My own fault. Gah!
qotd: I still hand-wash dishes because we don't have a dishwasher, though I can't say it's what I prefer! I do prefer hard copy books to e-readers, but many of the books I like are very thick and cumbersome so e-readers are better for traveling and such, but at home I'm reading physical books.
Accountability: I switched out my dinner yesterday and had some turkey meatballs with sauce instead.
Breakfast: coffee with Premier
Lunch: spinach salad with chicken
dinner: I'm thinking salmon

I mean, maybe I am old fashioned, too, but that sounds crazy to me! She should at least do both, but FB-only sounds like she doesn't want any gifts at that shower!
Good Morning,
Hope you are feeling better today! I too have been a bit off - my belly just isn't feeling right.
QOTD: I still write checks out to pay bills. Yup, that's me. Too afraid to do online banking so I don't.

Good morning! I'm glad your funk has lifted - mine has too. Usually I can figure out what caused it but not this time. I applied beach/sun/dog walking therapy and it apparently worked.
Today is a nice day again, so after yoga maybe a little beach again, then outdoor shower cleaning may be on the agenda.
Last night I had some full-fat Siggis yogurt. Usually I buy the lower fat kind, but DS bought this one. Wow! What a difference and I ate half what I normally do because the fat content made it so much more filling. I think the calories were the same as twice the amount of the 0% fat version, but it was much more satisfying. I know some of you have said that here, but I wasn't really sure I believed it. Now I do!
QOTD: Hmmm... I'm sure I do many things the old-fashioned way according to my kids, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something. I'll report back later if one occurs to me.

I "gave up" yogurt now that I am trying to be more Keto, but I miss my full fat Siggi's and full fat Fage.
