What's on you Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good afternoon, folks!
I figure for my long term success, it's probably a good idea to jump on this train, so here I am, 7 days post-op.
qotd: I give myself about 50 minutes, mainly to allow for a shower. If I weren't showering for some reason, probably 30 minutes, just because I have a difficult time engaging my brain in the morning.
Today's menu... I'm trying to hit my protein goal today, so I'll be having genepro+jello for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Exciting, right? Haha. But I am hopeful tomorrow that I'll be released to the pureed stage when I do my follow-up appointment, so I'm already trying to consider what to have for "dinner" tomorrow.

Congratulations! I hope the reasons that kept you on liquids longer than you planned weren't too severe. I feel so silly that I'm looking forward to pureed foods so much, but I'm just so bored with my choices right now. I didn't really start to feel the "itch" to move on until today.

I understand. I was on liquids 2 weeks pre op and then 3 weeks post op! All I wanted was something that wasn't sweet and broth wasn't enough savory taste for me. However, I've had eggs, cottage cheese, pureed chicken, and yogurt and to be totally honest, it really doesn't taste that good. By the time I have chewed it to pieces, it's like, meh! Lol.

Hi everyone,
JB, good luck with the job!
QOTD: I wake up about 45 mins before i need to leave for work. I like the little bit of rushing around, it gets me going for the day
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am still sick as a dog and only eating chicken stock and a little bit of chicken from making the stock.
Enjoy the rest of you night everyone!
