Congrats on the jacket! You'll have to show us a pic when it fits exactly like you want it to.

My daughter has a friend with the Dyson hairdryer which DD has used and says it is wonderful (DD has very thick somewhat wavy hair which usually takes a LONG time to dry). DD wants one...

I'd get one now if I had to routinely be somewhere else early in the morning, but since I don't, the price gives me pause. Also, I think that at a $500 price point, Dyson should give it a 5-year warranty, rather than the 2 year one they currently have. My hair is thickish, not as much as before half of it fell out, but still, and also can take hours to dry. I'm going to wait on this purchase, but at some point it will be mine!

My DD (grown) does have a Dyson vacuum, but I haven't succumbed to that either because of the cost, though I'd like one.

I have a Dyson vacuum. I used to have a Kirby, that was good too. The Dyson is okay, but I'd prefer a Roomba that could empty itself!

Yeah, I've thought about getting a roomba but there are so many models. How does one know what to get?

I haven't really investigated. I just like the thought of having something else do the vacuuming for me!

JB, hope the job comes thru for you.

QOTD: When I was working, I got up about an hour and a half before I needed to leave. I do not like anyone talking me for at least the first hour. I'm okay with a radio or TV. I have my coffee, read and listen to GMA. I would make a shake for the road.

This morning hubby at an appointment at the cardiologist at 8:40. UGG.....I don't usually change out of my jammies until 9:00 a.m.

Yesterday I grilled burgers, Johnsonville brats, one package was turkey. So, I have brats leftover for lunch. I read a lot. One book was titled MORNINGS ON MAIN, really good story with a happy ending. Then I started Lisa Scotoline's AFTER ANNA. Scotoline is a fantastic writer. I couldn't put the book and finished it this morning. This afternoon I'm working on quilt projects.

B: Greek yogurt

L: Turkey brat; pea pods; watermelon

S: Protein latte

D: Sweet & Sour Pork minus rice (had this Saturday with a very small amount of rice and it came back up)

S: Wasa cracker w/Laughing Cow

When I'm Woking, and I should be back to work on 3 weeks , it is my goal on Saturdays to see just how long I can stay in my Pjs. Only day of the week i can do that.
