Good morning,

Im taking my friend to see her dog and brother. I hope she can find a place to live that allows dogs. She really needs him. I didn't realize how much until last night support group.

I had my friends grandson over for two days. He's 4 years old. He didn't want to go home yesterday when I dropped him off at his uncles house for his grandma to pick him up. I got him a ice cream cone and it was dripping so I licked it and he got mad because I did that. He wouldn't eat it. I told him that's what moms do.

Not sure what my plans are for Memorial Day, now they say it's supposed to be 91 and sunny but before it was supposed to rain. If it don't rain, might go to the beach, take my friends grandkids.

Yesterday I ate my leftover Logans chicken tenders and the hamburger patty from the kids meal for lunch instead of what I planned. Also had an ice cream cone.

Qotd not a real fan of garage sales, I'll go when my friend wants to stop. But I do get excited if I do fine something.I think maybe when I go my friend takes forever. I'm a quick shopper so maybe if I went by myself I would like it better. Only time I participate in a garage sale was when my grandma had them.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese. Also ate my leftover Logans homemade potato chips.

L chicken tenders

D not sure where I'll be but I do have protein bars in my purse for emergencies.

Have a good day

Good morning! The sun is out and it is going to be 80 here, so I am going to the pond around the corner for a while. We have family obligations later so I can't go to the ocean, but I'm going to get my beach time somehow! Tomorrow and Monday are supposed to be rainy and cloudy, so I am taking advantage of the nice weather today as much as possible.

QOTD: I like yard sales and planned to poke around at them more in retirement but haven't done so yet. I don't like running them as I don't want to deal with setting prices, negotiating, etc. When we moved from our 20 year home in 2014 I had a free yard sale to get rid of everything we weren't keeping (and there was a lot since we moved to a house we already had furnished). It is AMAZING what people will take if it is free. Every last item was taken (and some were pretty junky). The only complication was a few arguments over who was going to take something (people wanted to put a "hold" on a piece of furniture and come back with a truck). I said the first person who can remove the item and transport it gets it. It worked out...

2 Years, 2 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad with pickles and cottage cheese - probably some deli turkey too (not much tuna salad left in container)

D: Not sure - family stuff so there might be a BBQ or going out to eat (or if home, leftovers)

S: apple and/or protein bar

Morning RNY'ers! I've been on my run and am currently waiting for an egg to boil, which I will eat with a yogurt. Today I don't have anything I need to do.the kids need to mow the lawn, i should go buy some grass seed. But I'm not feeling yard work this weekend.

Tomorrow I'll meet up with my sister in jersey, then we'll head up to hang with my brother in Connecticut, spending the day there. I'll probably be home very late Sunday or stay the night in jersey and head home early Monday. I really need to stay in control this weekend- not happy with my weight. This keeps getting harder and harder folks. You don't realize how magical that honeymoon was till it's gone.

Qotd: no,no, no to yard sales. I don't mind second hand things but I feel like I need an intermediary like a thrift store, to buy second hand stuff. Just seems awkward to walk up to someones yard and pick though thier old clothes, tools etc.

216 today, 3 years out. I updated my ticker with my short term goal- baby steps.

M1 boiled egg! Greek yogurt

m2: 1/2 ham cheese sandwich with pickles

m3 salmon

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Weekend Erin and Menu Family,

We were going to go to a family potluck this afternoon at a park, but I got very sick yesterday with horrible stomach pains. I went to the doctor and he said there was blood in my urine so maybe I popped a kidney stone. That or it was the gastric flu. In case it was the flu, I don't want to go to the family gathering and expose everyone. Plus I'm supposed to be on a liquid diet for today and soft foods for tomorrow. Also I didn't get my broccoli salad made yesterday that I was going to take to the potluck, And finally, it's suppose to be nearing 100 degrees out!

QOTD: I used to love garage sales, but I would buy too much junk so I discipline myself not to look. I've had a couple. They are a LOT of work and unless you are selling some high priced items, I don't think they are worth all the hassle.

Accountability: Yesterday: On a liquid diet after noon. Protein - 87, Calories - 965, Carbs - 121.

B: light & fit Greek yogurt, banana (I hope that is soft enough)

L: soup, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: soup, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: light & fit Greek yogurt

E: Probably going to take it easy today. Was pretty sick yesterday.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend everyone!

~ Karen
